Thank you! I used to work with a guy that would put on the Apu from Simpsons accent every time he referred to the Indian IBM team. And sure, this is anecdotal but he’s definitely not the only one (there was a whole documentary on this after all!) It’s so easy to say why did the Indian girl in the team put on a European accent to avoid embarrassment or she’s a grown ass adult, she should just confront him. Indians are many things, but very rarely confrontational. I don’t enjoy fake accents and it does make me cringe but like I said, do what you gotta do to survive and make your own life easy.

Who said anything about Priyanka’s accent on here? Sounds like you are insecure about your own accent and conflating the two issues when her accent has nothing to do with the stories she makes up. People don’t buy her fake ass stories. Deal with it.

LOL puhlease, why would I be insecure over my accent? Baskar made a comment about how people change their accent to fit in, I merely agreed and you went off on one, surprise surprise.
