Seriously, she should learn from her regional counterparts. She cancels the deal and lucky her Anuj is rich and so in love with her that he is ready to take on the financial loss that MD occurred.

They never show her stand by any of her promises. She doesn’t repay anujs loan for shah house. All of her journey is incomplete, started some restaurant concept with house wife’s don’t know where that went . Her Anupama academy , online classes also stopped. WhT happened to her college course?

Tamil version, Anupama is so much better. She fulfills all her promises and solves her problems with her own money. Till now anuj character although introduced but has never helped her financially except for motivating her. She is taking spike. English classes which is shown consistently. It is much better shOw than the Hindi counterpart. Anupama in Tamil version has bought the shah house from Vanraj, and rightfully in her name: her sons, in laws and her contributed for it. The in laws didn’t want to name the house in their name cos they know Vanraj version as their son will pay claims to it and go to court. The kids wanted Anupama in Tamil version to have financial security so they didn’t want the house in their name.

all she does is give Bhashans Bhashans

Acc to her Anuj left her she can be mad rightfulky, but now this is a mistake she did by cancelling the trip , why on earth should she let Anuj pay off the fines. Probably compensation for caring for choti anu and for him leaving her.

I dont wuestion her choice but her selective Mamta , she was fine to let choti be with Maya even when she know choti was scared of Maya and mayas health condition is affecting choti as well.

First time seeing your thread in this forum. ❤️

Very well written and Thanks for the info.! Didn't know Tamil version of Anupama at all. I hear mostly about the Bengali version and sometimes Marathi version. Both the Anupama seem to be stronger than this one. Wonder why the makers feel the pan India audience would not appreciate an Anupama similar to the regional ones.

I really loved about the Home thing you wrote. Anupama, her kids and her in laws purchasing SH and the in laws not wanting SH on their name. Wish they had shown something similar here.

They show in regional Anupama the full growth and journey of her business that she runs with just housewives. It started with making masala powders with one machine at home and selling it in stores using delivery apps as the next step. Then she started selling her home cooked meal to people and she went to personally deliver the orders. After that was established she started taking up catering orders in a small scale, then she got a huge order and did it by calling in all neighbourhood woman and collaborating with them: obviously there were problems , Vanraj version was never supportive , toshu version was problematic etc etc. she was falsely accused of serving bad food to kids, she was arrested but later was proved that she didn’t do it, then no one was buying from her. So she called media folks and said she will prepare 100 dishes in one hour breaking some record which again got back her clients etc. then she slowly started catering orders, rented her own office/ cooking space? Participated in tenders to cater to canteens of many companies and won.

Kavya version taunted hee saying running a canteen in companies means interacting with people from other states as well and taunted her saying whether she knows how to speak English etc. immedialtej she enrolled herself in spoken English class and it’s not like she went for one class and suddenly she is good, she is still shown as attending those classes and in those class she met Anuj version who is a good friend.

This Anupama sounds amazing! 👏 Actual women empowerment. Whether we like it or not, if women do not have financial independence, it is very difficult to be free because even today a lot of women are abused / taken for granted with the mindset that what will they do without us, where will they go? I love that this Anupama is focusing seriously on her career, that the makers are not shying away from showing problems in her career journey and that she has learner's attitude (English classes) instead of believing she is a know -it -all - better- than - others like this one.

This is my first regional show and I was impressed, ITV only cares for drama and they don’t go in depth of anything .

THIS. This is the journey I would have loved to see. But, the hindi version is TOTAL CRAP. So much so that aaj jal Rupali Ganguly ki shakal tak dekhne ka mann nahin karta. I used to love watching her in Sarabhai and Dill Mill Gaye.

On top of that, the regional versions never had to promote their serial saying it’s about woman empowerment. THEY SHOWED IT. Not like this one where all they can do is talk about it and not a shred of evidence to support their bizarre claims of woman empowerment.
