Wahaj was good with ramsha in ghisi piti mohabbat. I liked him in DNUTN and found him really good there..
He was good in Ehd e wafa too...But , intense and romance are his forte and I m not fond of his comical timing.. Same goes to yumna I m not a fan of her comic timing..She is good in intense scenes and intense shows ...Though I loved her in pks, i always found her better in her intense roles..
I also have the same feeling for sajal and Bilal too..These are intense actors and they are the best for intense roles...
For me, Yumna is one of the few PTV actresses I actually enjoy in comic roles. I've seen so many actresses play the bubbly loud girl and I usually can't watch more than 2 or 3 episodes. With Mahjabeen, it came out smooth, she was able to naturally go from funny to sad without seeming out of character, and I still remember soooo many of her dialogues. She was also great as comic relief in Yeh Raha Dil and Sinf e ahaan. I wish we could've seen more of it in Tere Bin.. Like that scene when she asks the pani puri wala if he knew Murtasim and she says "dekha" 😆

I feel Yumna goes a bit OTT with her comic roles whereas her serious intense roles are much more natural and authentic.
I had started watching PKS as it was airing without knowing anything about it. In the beginning, I thought this was the story of two neuro-divergent people - Mahjabeen with a developmental disability (like those adults with the brain of a 10-year-old) and Abdullah who is on the autism spectrum. When the drama started talking about Mahjabeen's marriage (with zero reference to her mental disability, what does consent mean in this context, etc.) I got so uncomfortable that I stopped watching. It was only a year or so later when I mentioned this show to someone that I found out that Mahjabeen was just a ditzy, bholi type character.
Maybe her acting got better in later episodes but frankly, for me, her acting in those initial episodes that I saw, veered from ditzy, bholi to someone with a mental disability.

I see.. For me PKS was a quirky show to begin with so her character gelled well with the tone. It was meant to be an overstated character, but unlike other loud characters we see on PTV, she played it enough finesse that Mahjabeen also carried emotional depth - more emotional depth than many understated characters have in an entire drama. Of course, if you haven't watched the entire drama, then I'd recommend finishing it, you might change your mind. Especially when her character has to deal with serious conflict post-marriage, you start to see Yumna balance comedy with retrospection and it becomes a gold performance. There's a reason why this character hit it off with the critics and the public, winning big that year. My favourite scenes include when Mahjabeen asks Abdullah to take a picture of her, their arguments involving Hammad and whenever she brings up Abdullah's mehbooba. If you haven't seen these, I would def recommend giving it a shot :D
Yup bt kisi na kam ki hai bs notification mil jata like ka... Otherwise buht fazool hai 🤣🤣🤣
