This is not the first banner contest Shibani(oh_nakhrewali) has conducted the instructions were simple the way they are for all BCs. Please go ahead nd check the banner contest announcement threads across IF you won't come across such specific instructions about who should be in the middle or how much space on the banner should be given to which ckt ..A list of characters r given that should be on the banner and the rest is left on the banner makers discretion , please understand that these banner makers r not paid for making these banner the appreciation and creative freedom involved is their reward

And adding too many rules will lead to less participation. Why will anyone make a banner with the characters they don't like. The effort it takes is too much. Let them make what they like with given guidelines.

Putting so many guidelines may lead to less participation as the banner maker has to unnecessarily put all characters in centers where as they may had alternate plan of placing some good stuffs in the center. 🙂

Many people don't like akshnav and abrohi but some banners will definitely hurt their feelings. If we keep on disqualifying banners with petty reasons who will participate.

Mods have done a great job.

Well generally we have kept banners for 6 months and I think they have lowered it to 3 months for the next one.

Give some time to it and enjoy the forum till we find a solution and it could happen that mods decide to replace the banner with a new one made by in-house designer which includes all main characters.

I will say that the team of mods in YRK forum are doing the best they can in keeping the forum clean. There's a lot going on and the mods need to work with reports so it does take time but they are doing the best they can. All I can say is keep reporting and if at any time you feel that the mods are not doing enough, then come to me in PM and I will do what I can.

As we are now openly talking about the forum and reports , I also wanted to be plain spoken too ,I don’t know what clean actually mean but what I see here is a whole new thread everyday is being dedicated for name calling and mocking a few characters and share abusive videos from SM !I also see those posts being edited/trashed by mods but this is never ending as that member may not even know that their posts are being edited or getting trashed ! So even the mods efforts are going in vain too which is sad Bit their efforts are truly appreciated!

If one can’t appreciate the characters or story of the show, one should better stay away from such contests.

Banners represents the show if one doesn’t have respect for the story of the show, how could one be truthful towards one’s art in the first place.

A new banner where a Male lead is treated as a sidey and the divorced couple is romancing at the centre and which is btw the only thing visible on most devices. Centrestage perks. Incredible.

The current winner might have made a pretty banner but its not an accurate banner. I dont want to mince words: Handling of which has only made divisive lines clearer than ever. Not the banner makers' fault though.. its the rest. And thats that. Too bad we cannot take this absolutely unfair decision to any other higher up. Never in the history of IF i think has a Male lead not been centre. But pigs fly on this forum, just like on ITV.

For archival purposes, I would like to say : absolutely no thank you to any of the admins for handling this in the manner they did. Am sure Abhinav fans will remember their great time on the forum lol. Kudos.

Seriously speaking, everyone has been too involved in this, the banner doesn't really matter. Ghum banner has Satya in center stage, Sairat fans congratulated the banner maker and didn't create a fuss in celebration thread. What ruined this whole experience for me was "Congratulations, the ugliest banner won" like posts in congratulation thread.

This outrage spilled out of the forum anyway, could have been on site itself and the winner should have been allowed to celebrate her victory.

Moderators are really doing everything they can, new banner will be there in 3 months and you never know if HC quits then you can have Abhinav centric banner.
