Lol I know it is super easy. There was this show called vampire diaries and and just a handful of fans could make it trend easily everytime it used to air..you just need to retweet and post using the same hashtags. It doesn't mean it is a global sensesation or anything but I guess they are just ignorant of how these things actually work and think it is something big.

Wasn't tvd super popular back in the days? It still is one of the most popular cw shows out there. But I guess when it used to air Twitter and social media were not this big.

Oh they were popular but the twitter fandom was not that big at that time as compared to now and they were also split between DE and SE all the time, so the trends itself used to be like shipwars.😆

I used to watch it religiously till S3. Then got bored of it. The first two seasons were good but then it went way too cliche and the writers started writing to satisfy each fandom instead of telling a story. Then I found supernatural and got obsessed with it. Tvd looked like ameture stuff in fron of spn for me. 😆 i was like sam and Dean can end Stefan and demon in a single episode by chopping their heads off 🤣

I loved it till s3 too and stopped watching after Nina left the show following her rl break up with Ian.

I found supernatural I think in its 5th or 6th season and got obessesed with it and religiously watched it till the end. I rarely watch a show past season 3. Some parts were not great but still for a show that long running, they did really well and I just love the cast.
