KJo admits his PR can make a flop a hit

I have no idea how old this interview is but I just saw it today on Reddit. I believe him. We’ve all seen him and others do it. My question is why is he admitting such things? This is as bad (or as amusing 😆) as when he admitted a few years ago that all the 4 star reviews that come out on the day of release has been decided on days in advance. He said in other interviews it's all about perception and SOTY was not actually a hit. Many actors do that too... zabardasti ke average film ko semi-hit tag dilwate hai. Varun and Alia have many such movies.

Varun’s team started the trend of calling all his averages a success. It sounds much better to say he’s had so many successes than to say he’s had so many averages 😆. But then they took it a step further and compared him to Rajesh Khanna and how many consecutive “success” they’ve both had 😕

I think KJo had also admitted something similar with ADHM.

All of them do it. But then KJo decides to come out at some event or gathering and spill all of industry’s secrets 🤷🏽‍♀️😆

KJo is an expert on this topic since he hasn't delivered a clean HIT as a director since K3G 😉.

Exactly! People forget that KANK-MNIK were average/below average too. MNIK the film that broke SRK's hit streak... bich mein Chennai Express was the only Khan level hit.

Lol, these insiders can manipulate numbers ten ways to Sunday to prop themselves up and bring others down. We, as the audience, don’t know how much the movie cost to make, what was it sold for, and how much the distributors and producers took home, so they can say or do anything, specially now that there are LEVELS of tags- average, below average, semi hit, hit…

In the right hands, below average becomes a semi hit, and it’s called a success. 😂😂😂

The truth is it’s become hard to sell mediocre movies as the audience as smartened up and nobody wants to take a risk to create good movies.

The same people who complain about him, are his enablers. You’re the same people who praise Alia to the skies and have given him this air headed power. I am blaming his enablers now for allowing him to speak like this.

Remember Alia is the rehearsal. His real strategy is to make Roohi Johar the biggest pan india star ever.
