As I lamented earlier Writing & execution of Viraj's past revelation episodes could have been much better, if narrative was more from Viaan's POV 😳like as a teenager what lies he was fed Vs what was the truth? as Viaan was one who got embroiled in elders choices & decisions the most, but not to point or whitewash who is wrong here Teji, Viraj or Seema? still feel that presser in office wasn't needed.

I agree with you; I think this is what was intended by one set of writers and it would have been accurate given how the court system worked in those days.

HOWEVER, they totally goofed up their intent by doing a saccha wala pyaar dialogue that was totally unnecessary. the makers faulty writing made it seem like EMA was acceptable and all these details got lost.

if they had just gone with the legal route, then you could argue that everyone -- man or woman -- have a right to get a divorce if they want and move on to a new relationship if they wish. they can't held hostage by their former spouse.

a while back, I read in the paper of a case where the judge dismissed the husband's petition and gave the divorce for the wife. he said that a court cannot force two people to be together when one has no wish to. the court also has no right to stop her getting married if she wishes to. so divorce was granted.

that is the current legal thinking and also accepted by society these days.

I just watched it and I cracked up so much during the episode. for you it was triggering but I found it so dumb that I was laughing away. 🤣

-- beginning of episode when viaan tells ehsaan, "not our vanya, my sister vanya" 😂 okay, poor ehsaan already being warned off about flirting.

-- farah yelling at ehsaan was hysterical to watch. the best was when she told teji to quit irritating her 😂 farah had the right emotional reactions which was also very amusing. please we need more villain farah. everyone else is too boring in this drama.

-- it definitely must have been a super boring day with no news if they were putting this on TV of all things. 🤣🤣 this drama has to be written by some america returned firangi because I am sorry no one cares about so much personal details here. some guy had affair many years ago. okay, so what. this isn't money laundering. no serious business reporter is going to write page 3 news. this is dumb! 😂

-- I also laughed when people seemed shocked that teji knew: obviously she knew!!! why one earth would that be shocking to anyone. 😂 😂 😂

This track was not needed at all, He should have accepted the half sister , could have been a negotiator between Teju and Seema , then should have given a joint press conference since Seema also a part of Viraaj and Vanya is th child accepting g them to the family

No sane son can dis respect his mom in front of media and accept that his dad was broken due to his bad marriage with his mom and his dad's EMA was his true love. Ridiculous

I felt very sad for Teji to have such wrong men for whom she dedicated her whole life. First Viraj, her husband estranged her, now her son is doing the same. I would suggest all the lady viewers of the show should take a clue and stop dedicating their lives for husbands and sons. You will end up with heart break. This is what message they want to show.

I am fed up with glorification of EMA and accepting the new found family and putting all blame on Teji. Someone please remind makers that show is being aired in India. Here marriage is sacred and EMA is un acceptable at any levels.

I was wondering if there were a simple role reversal; Teji found a new love and moved on leaving behind Viaan with Viraj, will it be accepted as new family by Viaan after say 20 years? She will be called cruel and bad mother, right?

Anyways, Makers have different standards for Yuvraj-Meera and Viraj-Seema (Just because Katha has to be in good terms with G family till they accept Viaan in her life and Teji has to be against K-V later)

What was Katha's face with happiness and peace after the ridiculous press conference was over? Why she is getting happiness for Viraj's EMA acceptance?

More than Batman-Robin secret, I am now waiting for Teji finding out about ONS and making it public and see changes in K-V dynamics.I would love to see that drama

Letha, I haven't seen the ep but I could relate to your sentiments while reading the post. I don't think that EMA should be glorified in any country. It's just wrong. I have no problem with second chances and love but not while disrespecting the existing relationships.

Agree that no son should have done what Viaan did.

If I can be honest with you, I feel like ITV has no moral compass. They will show anything in the name of entertainment. I should not generalise but I feel like we keep getting disappointed. Excluding season 1 of KRPKAB and Yeh Pyaar Nahi To Kya Hain, I don't feel that it has been an overall pleasant experience to watch any ITV show. They all end badly!

I would rather stick to watching Young Sheldon for now.
