LOL I was never in this category.....I found it fundamentally wrong on a moral level that Abhimanyu was erased from his son's life. Even though he made mistakes in anger and impulsiveness, his emotions for his child were always pure and taking revenge from a father for the husband's mistakes will never be right in my eyes....even when he didn't know Abhir was his son and he struggled with his own heartbreak over losing Akshara, he had the ability to wish Akshara well in her new world. The way they showed his struggles throughout that phase only made his story more compelling to me.
People mock him for proposing to Akshara in the mandir but no one talks about how he managed to pull himself back together even after being totally broken by that rejection and realization of having lost everything forever. Would any other person in his place in this story have managed to do that? By themselves? He has no one to really share his pain with other than Mahadev and he always self-introspects and pulls himself back together no matter how many times he is broken. Even without knowing Abhir is his son, even while thinking this is Akshara's child with another man, he loved that child with a pure emotion and fought for his well-being while Akshara was doing everything possible to block him from the truth. In my eyes, Abhimanyu was the bigger person in the story then only.....imagine the man who loved Akshara so fiercely and possessively managing to show the grace and large-heartedness to accept her with another man and child in her life.
I guess people are only now being able to see his large heart and compassion because he is more calm now😆......but he was always like this even when he was struggling with his emotions more. Even then when he clashed with Akshara over her hiding the truth from him, he never did anything vindictive like she did to him again and again.....he only stood up for his rights as a father and he was mocked relentlessly for that ki how dare he ask for his haq😆. I used to be really amazed reading people mocking him for that much also ki jis bande ko 6 saal tak uske bacche se chhupa kar rakha, log bol rahe hain uska koi haq hi nahin😆.
As I've said many times, the true character of a person is revealed when they lose something.....Abhimanyu has proven again and again in the last many months that even after losing many things, he never loses his humanity and compassion as a person - his ability to still love and try to heal no matter how many setbacks he is dealt elevates him as a person. Meanwhile Akshara has also revealed her character each time she has lost - she has shown spite, vindictiveness and pettiness over and over again. The contrast speaks for itself.
