This breaks my heart a little. What if Dhruv hadn't stayed back? What was Tara's plan? To get married to Senapati with her khush rehne ka prayas even after knowing that he had gone a step ahead in his sick doings by kidnapping Dhruv's father?

The very fact that Tara had decided to move on and try to be happy, considering everything to be her KanhaJi's wish is kind of off-putting. Makes me question a lot of things.

@ bold- interesting observation. Think this was after her crying with his shirts and garland scene? And Bhaiji also told her during the sandook scene that sending him back was necessary to keep the balance?

Maybe it was her version of saying that seeing her unhappy wouldn't allow Dhruv to move on, and so she tells God that she will try to be happy, and you please keep Dhruv happy as well.

And her khushi, like all ITV FL's, lies in the khushi of her family 🤪(in this case her father, whose vow would be upheld)

And maybe the immediate return of Dhruv at that stage was probably a hint from the makers to the audience (and Tara) that sending him away was not Kanhaji's iccha at all?

I am not sure but I guess it is after the shirt bit. Haven't watched that part and the previous episode where she sends him back.

This is an interesting take. I would definitely think about this more.

I definitely get the vachan part. I respect that as well. My problem is with the kind of man Tara knows Senapati is. Vachan nibhane ke liye jisne Bhaaiji ki jaan lene ki koshish ki uss se shaadi karegi Rajkumari Ji? Susheela had raised a finger on her character and the girl had made it extremely clear that regardless of how truly she respected Susheela, she wouldn't stand a word against her dignity. Where did that trait disappear? Senapati se shaadi karke swabhiman ko thes nahi lagne wali thi? Aise kaise? 🤔

Baap ka self respect is above her own swabhimaan I suppose.

And of course, that darn 21st century painting is at the back of her head- she thinks that's destiny, and can't be changed.😔

What I'd have liked to see- a scenario where Dhruv hasn't come back (or she doesn't know he's back), and Senapati orders the painting to be done before the marriage. And she suddenly realises that the portrait doesn't necessarily mean marriage. In such a scenario, her thoughts regarding potentially backing out of it would be interesting.

Ofc, we also now have Senapati using Ravi as a method of blackmail for doing the marriage (albeit not on Tara yet)

Vaise bhi pehle unhe samay Sadi paar krvaani thi isliye pyaar jldi karwana jaruri tha lekin tab to koi boundation bhi nahi hogi to kuchh cute , funny fights , romantic scenes bhi de skte h . Instead of saas- bahu drama because of Ravi baba .

"Tara? Tum yaha?" He shut his laptop screen and kept it aside after he realized her presence. He reached her in three long strides. Snapping his fingers in front of her, he made another attempt to break her trance.

"J-ji... ji." Startled by seeing him right in front of her, she pulled herself a step backward, wondering when he made it to there from his bed. Was she really that lost?

"Where are you lost?"

"Ji?"

"Ah, sorry! Mera matlab hai kaha khoyi ho? Tum thik ho? Mom ne fir kuch kaha? Kisi aur ne kuch kaha?"

Despite how hard she tried, resisting her smile was beyond her. He might not remember her but forgetting to protect her seemed beyond him.

"Hum bas aapko ye dene aaye the. Aaj ka din humare liye khaas hai to humne ye… ca-ke banaya tha. Bilkul waise hi jaise aapne apne uss yantra ki sahayta se hume sikhaya tha." She pulled the plate that she was hiding behind her back to the front as she held it in front of him. "Hum aapke liye laaye the. Aap… khaayenge?"

"Kyun nahi khaaunga? Bilkul khaaunga!" Cutting a small piece of the cake, he put the spoon in his mouth. "Aaj khaas kya hai waise? Tumhara birthday hai?"

"Ji kya hai?"

"Birth- janmdin. Aaj tumhara janmdin hai?"

"Ji nahi. Ek mahine pahle isi din humne kisi ko… I love you kaha tha."

"What? Tumhara boyfriend hai? Tumne kabhi... bataya nahi "

The tinge of sadness that she heard in his voice by the time he reached his last word made her look into his eyes that held the question that she knew wouldn't be able to find his voice. She didn't need it to hear that either.

She stayed quiet even after knowing what his unsettled self was Impatient to know.

His visibly disappointed figure didn't move an inch, still waiting for the answer that she seemed to be taking forever to give.

"Kaun hai wo? Accha hai? Tumhe khush to rakhta hai na?"

"Unse zada khush hume pehle kabhi kisine nahi rakha!"

"Kaha rehta hai?"

"Humare bohot qareeb hokar bhi bohot dur."

"Tumse kabhi milne nahi aaya wo yaha. Use tumhari yaad nahi aati?"

"Bas usi kshan ki pratiksha kar rahe hai… jab unhe hum yaad aa jaye."

Again very nice writing 👍🏼

I'd half expect Dhruv to question her how she doesn't know the meaning of birthday, but knows what I love you means though 😃
