Atleast she wrote the characters. If she didn't write such characters how could we see them on screen. This story, these characters are her baby. That's her creation..and no one can take that away. So why aren't we giving her due credit.

And coming to all the others. Everyone. I repeat everyone has a share in this mess. No one is dhood ka dhula. When she was writing or send the script of last episodes they could've said no. Anyone could've.

Kaddu uncle and asad khureshi how did they okay it. They knew everything but still did. And don't tell me they weren't seeing. They were..coz TB was their golden egg and every page would've been scrutinized. Still they okayed it.

And siraj. What was the director doing. He can remove any scenes which tells about girls but not such problematic things. Why are we giving him free pass. Doesn't the final say lies in directors hands. If anything we have to blame this stupid man.. He should be the one with vision. We don't call directors visionaries not for name sake, right?

They have the vision..they know how a scene should be. He can put symbolisms if we go by those fans who skeletoned every scene of the show and told us how the things and pieces used represented the theme..He can think about all that but not about story. Please spare me this logic.

In any field..the ultimate decision lies with director, creative heads who are there in the shooting spot, going through every shot. Monitoring everything. So even Marie baaji is responsible.

How could she not see the glaring mistakes in the script. She could've improvised it. No one will tell her off if she does this. The screen play, every damn person on the set.

Shouldn't they knew how that scene looked on screen after filming it..and then editors what the hell were they doing when editing..half of the blunders in TB are due to editors. 🤦

So why only nooran. Did she write such regressive story. No..I don't agree. She gave iconic characters. Maa begum , haya, meerab. They are written as powerful characters. But the screen couldn't show them to that level. I agree there should've been some dialogues here and there. But who's to say she wrote it and other dumb idiots removed those.

So I don't agree blaming everything on nooran. Even if I hate what she did with the story and the characters in the last phase. But everyone supported her. If they wanted they could've stopped it but they didn't.

So who is to be blamed more. Writer who just writes on paper. Or the ones who are shooting it not finding faults in it.

But story wise, as I’ve always said, I would blame Siraj and Marie more than Nooran. Siraj said Nooran had written a consistent script with a wonderful screenplay, which we never saw. NM has been taking the fall for director’s decisions, I can feel it in the interviews. She did say many of her scenes were removed by the director. And knowing Siraj and his bias against women, I’m pretty sure he never felt the need to provide the FL space in the story and removed her introspective scenes if there were any. When the director is biased, the story will be presented that way too. It’s his vision after all. I also saw clip where this director had once left an assault scene to remain vague in one of his previous shows. Goes to say he’d have a hand in this too. Because according to Nooran’s interviews, she wanted to show how couples who fight end up having kids. For sure, she wasn’t talking about assault here.

And being the content head, Marie has been irresponsible. Wasn’t she supposed to be the link between the director and writer? What or how did she approve the script and scenes while being shot?

Contrived plots and situations, I understand the flaws. But the dumbing down of the characters, I would blame Nooran. She took too much liberty in the name of moving the story. I won’t say Haya, MB, Mee are iconic. I don’t believe they were. All the characters were ridiculous. Also, there was no shining moment for any character in this show except the villains. It was all ‘reaction’ to villains that the so called heroes were doing. They never took any action. That is not a weak writer, but a bad one.

I would say Nooran’s script has been played with, by everyone around, that the inconsistency of the characters seeped in by the end of it. It’s a double edged sword. Apart from the production house and their interference, had Wahaj not changed the regressive script to suit the current audience, the show would never have become such a hit, but then again he did a disservice to his own character who ended up being a different person altogether towards the end of the show.

I’m happy about the fact that they acknowledged the script was bad through this, and also glad that they have admitted their mistakes, which means they will work on the mistakes. But I’m unhappy that they gave credit to the others at fault too. That is unfair and petty of Y & W.

We as an audience can feel relieved that they acknowledge where they went wrong, but they are on a public platform with influence, they shouldn’t disregard the writer that way. For formality and courtesy sake at least, NM should have been included.

There was hardly any dialogue tbh! I saw MB there was cut! Murtasam one was cut!

So allot of dialogue been removed and kinda hits MR and then consent sex happened! Not fully MR!

🤗thank you. You worded more beautifully than me. I agree with you. I'm not saying NM wrote some great script but it was only her story and her characters which you are showcasing on the screen. So give her due credit. She got bashed more than needed. And we forgot everyone else. Marie, siraj, other creatives who worked on set, behind the scenes. Who could've challenged this, with power but didn't.

Amna will ask her soft questions but MR should be clear. Amna should asked what was she thinking before making the character change completely. Ans why so much loopholes without any logic.

Yes. I even think muskan ko director bana denge..I'm very sure about this. Or atleast associate director type. I don't think siraj will direct new season. He was already busy with another show like wahaj when TB was airing.
