Shubhangi wants to do offbeat cinema
Shubhangi Attrey aka Kasturi's first Star Parivaar Awards has a triple treat lined up for her. She has got three nominations - Favorite Jodi, Favourite Patni and Favorite Bahu for her serial Kasturi.
An elated yet surprised Shubhangi says, "I was expecting nominations but not in three categories. I have got three so let's see how many I win. On a serious note, getting appreciated for the work is what matters and winning is a lottery."
Shubhangi's favourite actress is Hema Malini whom she idolizes since she is also a classical dancer. The actress, who is open to Bollywood offers, adds, "As of now I have not received any offer but I would like to do offbeat movies since I enjoy watching such genre of films. Till then my aim is to keep concentrating on delivering good performances."
Apart from being an actress, Shubhangi is even a mother and her daughter enjoys accompanying her for the shoots and even she likes dancing. "Se is another actress in the making and if she wants to become one, I will definitely encourage her," Shubhangi signs off.
