He definitely has some dark secret which he wants to hide from everyone , that's why he's so loyal to DB even after his family suffered so that he can guilt trip DB into helping him when he needs it imo

Can understand DJ trying to spoil her but why didn't DB object? Did he really have an expectation that she would be fully prepared in half a day? Most probably she doesn't even know the Mahajan credentials. Even experienced seniors go through the presentation a day prior.

Most probably vidur done some mistake or have his own secrets which Mahajans have exploited especially dhanraj (usually that's what happens in thrillers that villains keep toying with your secrets as they have power over you)

The flashback of Neil reminds me of the American show revenge.😃
