Ohh Ayeza's performance in MPTH is just a class act IMO..she played the infidel wife and money crazy woman with such ease..and made us all hate her..I never thought much of her acting skills till then and MPTH established her as a serious actor IMO..and then ofcourse she did many other projects after that which established her versatility. So all in all MPTH seems to have worked out in her favour at the end of it.
I had no clue poor Danish was getting bashed😳 thats so ridiculous! i swear every thing in that show was tastefully done..unlike the rubbish we have these days in Pak dramas..*cough Tere Bin cough*
Agreed..Danish actually gained serious popularity post Deewangi..I think he even mentioned that he went through a decline as well and someday will write about it in his autobiography about how he bounced back with conscious efforts! whereas Ayeza was doing so well for a very long time..and never really went out of the radar..this woman has got it all...👏a successful career, a stable and ideal married life, two sweet kids..and one of the most popular faces of Pakistan! Amazing indeed! Barring a few silly controversies, this couple has really handled everything so damn well!
If Danish has been a supportive husband, Ayeza too has been an equally supportive wife to never make him feel that she is a bigger star than him. One wrong move by either partners and it can end up very bad. Which is why showbiz relationships can be complicated.
Also, i think both have been well long enough in this field to know how to handle situations when receiving backlash over their toxic characters and projects. It seems like they take it all up as nothing more than work. They own up to what they do and don't try swaying public opinion.

Another interesting thing about MPTH was that since Ayeza's Character's husband's name was also Danish, she tried her hand at getting the name changed 😆 because she felt weird to take his name angrily or tell all those dialogues like "hum ek saath nahi reh sakte Danish". Ofcourse Khalil Ur Rahman didn't budge and told her to not see it as 'Ayeza aur Danish ki kahani' rather strictly see it as Mehwish and Danish. 😆
Now that i think about it, it would have been rather interesting if Danish himself had got the chance to play Danish. 😆 To watch a reali life couple go through that journey on screen would have been quite a roller coaster ride. 😆 A lot of dimwits from the public would lose their marbles not understanding what in the world was happening and the lines between onscreen and real life would get blurred for them. Jo bhi ho, Phir bhi Danish ko hi gaali padti. 🤣
