Correct me if I am wrong, I don't see the other 2 channels dragging the dramas the way Geo does. I heard that Geo takes care of their actors and actresses well and also spends so much money for a drama. The channel may be good to actors and actresses and freely spends money for a drama but in return the makers give stress to audience and get their money back at the cost of audience's stress.

That's not the case (IN BOLD) we have middle class people sending their kids by taking education loans and some of my cousins who had settled here UK/USA, never bothered to clear their bank loans, the parents are clearing their education loans with their retirement benefits etc.

highly disappointed how whole drama and media around it was handled.

Many people these days are raising their kids as if they are thoroughbred horses. Their daily bibles are university admissions criteria/checklists. Everything, even their way of speaking is so contrived and engineered. It’s sad to see the loss of organic childhood days. Where I live, even play time is so engineered - it’s all play dates as opposed to organic running outside and playing- as if the parents make a calculation about how this play time will affect their child’s university applications down the road. And the result is often humans that are incapable of just living and dealing with regular issues. I had one student that said she couldn’t turn in her assignment b/c she needed two computer screens to write a paper and she didn’t have that at the time. An ADULT student. 🙄

Yes true, there r middle class as well! I mean in uni saying, every Chinese and Korean you see they tend to be super rich! With their lavish car and spending money on campus! Idk about your uni, but my one was filled with Asian students

Agree, you are true and bang on (IN BOLD) the problem is kids of today, the corporate school products have absolutely zero knowledge about life other than what's being taught and by heart at school. Whereas kids from government schools having a balanced approach of various things have better understanding of the outside world and can survive better.

My nephew couldnt even travel to his engineering college and have never stayed at a relatives place. Whereas by his age I was handling my mom's food delivery business while working part-time also having a full-time college education.

Most of my corporate college educated friends are all sitting 🏡 doing nothing because they don't know anything beyond subjects being taught in their books.

I'm like a wild flower because nothing was ever laid out to me.

In government schools nothing is spoon fed.. There you learn the practical approach to life..Teachers are lovely, kind and considerate too.. I have spent about 10 years of my schooling in govt English medium school (Yes,govt English medium exists).. Students coming out of govt schools are quite intelligent too..

My parents never had to spent much for my or my bro's studies.. Neither for primary education not for our uni.. I think the highest they spent must be for my bro's masters in Germany,which is also way too less compared to what other people are spending..

In my opinion, if an individual is good in studies and stays focused, no matter where you study govt or private school, you will end up in good unis..

Yes….society has taken the “living” out of life. What a waste of life. After covid, my thinking has changed and my ultimate motto is that (kinda morbid but true) nobody is going to volunteer to take your place on the deathbed. So make sure to live the way you want to, while you have the choice.

in UK we have private school and cost is like 12-16k a year , even more depending how good private school is!

However when it comes to actual exam, we do exactly the same exam for gcse & A-lvl!

Myra the chances of getting A* in private is higher than government but at the end of the day exam is the same so it all depends upon you.

a poor kid in Uk has exactly equal chance of getting A* as a rich kid.

When it comes to job, a normal kid probably has much better understanding than say super rich kid who has been sheltered all their life and the job offer 2!

One thing I love about UK: you can be stinky rich or stinky poor; you both use that same underground to go to work!! You won’t even know that person sitting next to you is millionaire 😂😂😂
