Which episode are you on?
Yes, that's where it picks up. The drama is not just out and out comedy, somewhere in the second half you will witness a lot of emotions and family drama as well. Most importantly, all in a very enjoyable manner.
What i also liked was, even though Ayeza did a lot of similar characters back to back, starting from Meenu to Geeti to Pari, in that period, none of them reminded me of each other, neither acting wise nor look wise. I think that's also something not a lot of actors can set out to achieve. But yes at this point, it has got repetitive amd audience would like to see her do something polar opposite to it, which is why Mein seems like a good character selection for her at the moment. This will be followed up with most probably a positive mature character in Jaan e Jahan. So far, Seems like a good way to go about from here.

I didn't like Hum Tum either. Going by the last few projects, Saima's collaboration with Wajahat helmed under Geo has delivered well as compared to Saima's collaboration with Danish Nawaz under the Hum banner.
