This was made as a commercial drama so the makers had an expectation that this drama would be a hit but may be they didn't expect this much of popularity. And when the drama started airing there was 15 days shoot remaining if I am not wrong. And during the last schedule shoot they already got to know that it was getting good TRP. If they had wanted they would have shot some scenes between Meerab and Murtasim.

Whatever be the issue, initially also they must have planned for a planned ending of this show, which we are not seeing for now.I have a question , did they never planned for this separation, but in initial OST only they had meesam right ? So confused

What I think.. They had only one story. And when they wanted to extend the show the editors did the magic..NM already had her story intact she never made extensions or added sub plots to the story. The story was as it is. The director removed chunks which he didn't get and shot the story in his version. So all actors and writer and director left the show. Now when they want it to extend to make it 58 epis they made editors do the work. So SB, meesam, everyone was already set. None was added afterwards. Even Saba and rohail scenes too were already done.

In Ana, when Altamash and Izza got crazy popular, they added a little wedding scene in the end to pacify the audience which they shot on the Actual wedding of the actress. They were only supporting characters but people loved them more than the leads. They had a few scenes but the team still went ahead to shoot cos people loved them.

Idk what TB team is thinking but they shouldn’t cheat us out on Meerasim which they have already done enough.

I hope there's no season 2 and i really hope yumna and wahaj don't come back together so soon.. Atleast for couple of years..Let TB fever die down and then they can have a fresh show with new characters..

If they comeback within a year, people will still compare their new characters with murtasim-meerub..
