He gave preference to love. But I think to elevate Haider's character in the last episodes he was shown obsessive. I feel that Hamza genuinely liked Dilnasheen and went to the extent of addiction because of not able to forget her. I feel Haider was amused to see her childlike behaviour the first time he saw her as he was a mature guy. I didn't get the feel of liking from Haider's character towards Dilnasheen the way I got the feel from Hamza's character.

Remember Dilnasheen's mother. The way she behaved with her daughter was so horrible.

I think expecting something and facing reality of that thing are different. Hamza may or may not have thought of the possibility of Dilnasheen getting pregnant but facing that reality hit him hard that's why he was shocked. I feel that may be if given time he would have come to terms with her pregnancy.

I think all the divorce talk Hamza and dil does would've given him the idea that atleast she won't pull the I'm pregnant card in the last minute. I didn't see the show fully coz I hate the hypocrisy where they are like pati jo bhi bole wo sach hai, he can tell whatever he wants, and he can be having lovey dovey convo with his ex cum cousin. And this show has tons of it. But I saw some clips here n there and mostly Hamza scenes.
