They could have shown MZ genuinely falling in love with Mariyam, and Meerab despite realising the fact that he is MZ, going a head and helping them and getting them married .

Whole khan family going berserk on Merrab for getting their daughter married to their enemy and throwing her out or banishing her...

This way they could redeem MZ, mariyam getting her love..The seperation would look logical because it wouldn't look out of character for both MK and meerub.

Both would be at fault. Meerab for getting mariyam married to their arch enemy and murtasim for not listening and throwing out...

I don't know why the hell writer didn't think of this scenario 🤢

I don't know if I ever saw such a situation in PTV,

Usually, it's shaq or some sazish that leads to separation.

Both leads were somewhere wrong but the intentions were right.

And he'd reject her.

but if they will go itv root, Me-Mu dead, Meesam grew up and she is FL, MB salty, one more handsome cousin who will be ML.

Though i feel S2 isn't really happening but if they do i will watch if its an entirely different story nd a good writer......with good character arcs

So if murtasim as a character is being changed on insistence of actor then there definitely would be backup plan. Without that how can they just remove problematic things and not understand how it will affect the whole scene.

And I don't think wahaj or anyone has that much power to just remove things without producers or directors approval. They will even ask writer coz at that end of the day she will be the one to write different scenarios. This is a collective effort. Every scene, every dialogue changes has to go through a lot.

So my question if they knew all this then how can they change murtasim's character in starting episodes. They must be known something na. Or they didn't know how the pre climax and climax are written and will be written. So they went euth flow in the initial phase but nm wanted to write what she wanted. Kuch toh problem hui hain..

Thys us exactly like season 8 of GOT. Some said directors got another offer so they cared less about the last season. The writing material from R.R.martin ended so directors didn't know what to do with the series. They just wanted to wrap up the show and move on to their new show.

Now TB too is in same situation. If we see last 10 episodes there isn't much story there. Only 5 scenes and fb's for every episode. And actors can only change their own scripts or if duo are playing they will change it together. As Bushra mam said how will I know if there was a problem with a scene where I'm not involved. So it all lies upon the heads. Director, writer, creatives, producer.

I remember NM saying she was still writing the script when the shoot was going on.

Probably the actors only got initial 20 episode script and none expected it will turn so drastic at the end.

I mean they can't back out after finishing 80% of the shoot right?

IKR. ITV fares better in such scenes i think. All the love stories that I have watched be it maneet/arshi/RK-madhu etc were never butchered to this extent and we had plenty of angst, love, intense romance...

I don't know why these people wasted such potential chemistry between the leads..

I don't have it in me to watch S2 of this show.. I will watch it if it's a new storyline with same leads, having no connection to the s1..
