Hi Meher and Hari! Thanks for keeping the positivity. 👍🏼 I keep oscillating between feeling good and feeling despair for this lovely, under-utilized couple that has been brutally butchered for no reason. Isn't it ironic that the kind of track everyone wanted to see for Abhira where they fought against all odds to solve a problem is being given to Navra. They are showing as nothing can separate them, when not once did they write something like this for Abhira. End of my rant.... as I said I keep swinging between positive and negative and try to hold on like you folks.
Also, this post was written a couple of days back and I never got time to post. So, I'll catch up with the recent custody track, after the verdict today.
Ab has shown regret, restraint, and maturity in these last few months, which is his redemption. Contrary to popular belief, we have seen that he has not blindly followed his mother's words, though he doesn't oppose her loudly. But he still does what he wants and softly explains to her later. In fact, a notable change in his character is that he doesn't do confrontations anymore, Yes, he didn't say SORRY, but his every action, every decision now bleeds with his regret for his actions in anger. Though Ak has acknowledged it only once at Kv wedding, Ab has changed, he has hardly shown any anger now. Every situation hurt, and insult, he faces with a stoic face. His decisions are not impulsive anymore and are well thought out. He has shown immense patience so far, even respecting Nav after all the nonsense Nav does behind Ak's back. In light of his actions, does the word SORRY matter anymore? Yet, every few days she keeps going back to square one, to the Ak we were introduced to after the leap, only now ego and stubbornness have replaced the anger that was seen until Mimi's birthday.
Ak has no recognition of her faults.... she thinks she is always right. What will break her self-notion of righteousness? Unless she starts to show some amount of thawing of her stance, Abhira cannot even start. To make it happen Ak's realization has to start. Her attitude needs a big-time change.... after all, Ab has quietly done in the last few months, especially saving and supporting Abhir many times, and taking care of him, her attitude towards him sucks big time. What is the need for all the arrogance she now shows him? She still uses all her haq on him when 'demanding' requests. He had to ask her if she was asking him or telling him that Abhir should not come to court, and she immediately understood she has to tone down. This comes across as her being unnecessarily cruel just to intentionally hurt him for even daring to breathe or talk to her or come in front of her. I understood her anger earlier but now it's only her stubbornness and ego.
Honestly, I wonder if is something going on behind the scene. With the slow progress in Navra, I sometimes think if Abhira will reunite or not. I also feel the channel will not let go of its golden goose, HC, one who keeps winning all the awards, one who has put this show back on everyone's radar, and keep JS instead. When I think from that angle I feel Abhira will reunite. But, showing so little of AB in the episodes is raising a big question in my mind..... it could also be that HC prefers doing a few meaningful scenes rather than having more scenes that have to include AR to balance it. So fewer scenes without Ar, but with Abhir, Ru, Mj and some Ak/ Nav is definitely preferable. Something has happen now, after custody, to break the Nav jaap. Keeping my fingers crossed....
