I understood punjab so ishq jalebi is one of my fav shows.My parents also love the show because it was family drama with comedy scenes.I loved the last episode.Bela and basim has the sweet type of chemistry especially in last episode where he was trying to meet her 😆.

That drama addressed many issues and kinda took bold steps in a way that the fl lead got married more than 2 times and in last episode decided to stay single and also became successful and her family was nice unlike other dramas where fl families r pathetic.

I guess they have also raised one more issue related to girl having problem with getting physical with her husband due to his unhygienic habit.Something like this, I have not watched the whole show so don't know abt it.

I do troubleshooting, analysing, poora fill in the blanks and match the following for a living and the serial choice bhi aisi 🤷🙈🙉 🫣

the fourth time she decided to not go ahead and work on her business

i found the drama and ramsha's character very refreshing

the writer - fasih bari khan- writes these grey but three-dimensional characters. They have their flaws but you still feel a lot of empathy. I really loved his drama - Mohabbat jaaye bhaad mein (adnan siddiqui, hina dilpazir, sajal aly, resham, aiman) - and also burns road ki neelofar.

Yeah I couldn’t understand the Punjabi parts. I had to fast forward through most of the parents parts because I couldn’t understand it. Basim was amazing although I don’t find him attractive as Basim. He is adorable but he looks so young in it. It’s hard to believe that he can play Basim and Murtasim so effortlessly when they couldn’t be more different.

But the only thing I wasn’t convinced with was his love story angle. But it was fun and passable.😆

He was EFFORTLESS as Basim! SO good! There was no acting involved at all! He embodied Basim! He doesn’t even play MK that effortlessly!😆
