MK matured way beyond his age because of the responsibilities bestowed upon him.Meerub on the other hand was always protected by her three daddies: Waqas,Anwar and Murtasim..She didn't know how ugly the real world is..

She needed someone to calmly explain these stuffs. MB could have been a great MIL.But alas, she didn't even become a good mother to MK, how can we expect her to do something for meerab?

I agree with you that she needed someone to explain things clearly to her and also to listen to her worries and understand her. And nobody did that Waqas, Anila, Anwar, Murtasim and Maa Begum. They wanted her to act in a certain way. They really didn't try to understand what she was going through and that she needed the care.

- Waqas wanted her to marry Murtasim despite her showing reluctance and he revealed her birth truth in an insensitive way.

- Anila also told her to marry Mutasim without understanding why Meerab did not want to marry him.

- MB and Anwar wanted her to marry Murtasim without caring for her wishes.

- Murtasim wanted her to act as Khaani without understanding what she wanted.

If at least one of them took sometime and listened to her and explained her the things and gave her some time then may be she would have also tried to understand the situation.

There are three situations we can see where Meerab listens to others

- In Episode 12, when Meerasim had a conversation Meerab expressed herself and also listened to Murtasim.

- In Episode 23, when Maa Begum was talking to Meerab she listened to her.

- In Episode 25, when Murtasim explained he couldn't send Naila back because of Mallik Zubair, she listened to him.

And there are other instances where we can see that she wanted to clear things through communication.

- Meerab trying to convince Murtasim about Anas.

- In Episode 35, when she tried to clear about Naurez issue after coming from the restaurant.

People always wanted her to adjust/listen/ behave as per their requirement. None understood her turmoil.None cared about her dreams, not even KMK until he fell in love with her.. What if he hadn't fallen in love with her? Would be still ask her to pursue her dreams? I don't think so ..

None of them really tried to explain her anything and just expected her to behave like Khaani..

@Bold: I also have the same question If he hadn't fallen in love in love with Meerab, Would he have allowed her to pursue law?

What I feel is after episode 47 there are many scenes edited, like we had a scene with saba n meerub in a room with baby, then sabeena scenes with meerub.

If there was Mr involved they had to cut down most of the scenes which was shot n had showed Mr conversations involved so I think they have added so many fbs

I have watched many pvt dramas after tere bin , but all the serials climax happen in last episode only , why is that ???

But, what you said is true.. This is a possibility too..If it was indeed an MR, and they edited it out due to uproar. They probably had to let go off every other scene involving or indicating MR. All the dialogues, scenes everything needed to be edited to remove the MR angle..So, it's quite possible that they had to edit out all the remaining episodes which ultimately became a mess..

That could also be the reason producer seemed unhappy in the interview..All these editing led to lots of mess and probably they had to face lot of problems due to that and story turned out to be a total mess...
