As to why the great goenkas not want Abhi acknowledging as Abhir's father, it could be because the writers think audience dont care about logic so why bother showing it. When have goenkas really taken any mature decisions?. They just line(with some initial resistance) up to support their children's decisions whether right or wrong.

Strangely though BP had no issues whatsoever introducing AB- Ruhi as baap beti in sangeet but happy to ignore Abhi-Abhir's relationship because paalnewala is greater than paidakarnewalaor may be they didnt want AA crying again🤣 and AK having to console him

I think that's not the case , they are just heartless and cruel beings . In season 2 goenkas conveniently thought to snatch kairav from naira , and presently want to snatch abhir from abhimanyu. Basically their motto is to seize the kid from one rightful parent to serve as a trophy of victory for their own aulaad .

This is the crux of his character and Navra relation. There is no second love troupe here.

If Abhinav loved Akshara, haq comes with it, they are married and Ak has made it abundantly clear to him that she wants him as husband now not just father.

These are not just his insecurities, his true emotions surfacing now.

His intent has always been Abhir, Akshara tho bonus mein mil gayi wali bhaat hai 🤦🏻‍♀️
