Like at some point he gets better but initially pretends to be insane to keep the King and others guilty of the crime they did for a lifetime..

It's certainly a theory we've pondered over. Coz the actor in question has done his share of negative roles.

If he's completely blameless (which looks to be the case btw, with Dhruv calling him "papa"), then I can see Sushi holding a lifelong grudge against Tara if they go back to the 21st century. Which will make this saas-bahu, and I really don't want to see that. And Sushi's already cursed the Maharani (but not her dear husband, who went along with an unknown lady).
