Could be…but I interpreted it the opposite, for another take. He was feeling sad and dejected, slightly angry and hopeless and that’s why he agreed to marry haya. He asked her if she was there when Meerab left, to clear any doubts…as one last hope. When Haya said she wasn’t there, he stupidly believed her thinking, well I guess I can’t even to hold onto any hope now. He wasn’t happy at the wedding because he literally was resigned and still angry and upset that he was marrying Haya. And in the promo it shows that he was always thinking that she was with Rohail, even more reason for him to feel dejected and give up= marry Haya I guess. I felt like he is resigned to this, until saba comes along and gives him the new Meerab information. Obviously the new Rohail news will probably change this trajectory hopefully…as hope has returned.

We need to know what Haya was saying to meerab before she left…they didn’t put that in the flashback unfortunately.

I still wonder if MK got the chain and thinks Meerub is dead - this is why he agrees to marriage, stays quiet when Anwar is yelling at them and asks where Rohail is instead of Meerub.

Somethings don’t connect with the promo where he is pining for Meerub or what Haya is saying if this is the scenario but also make sense why they are going ahead with the marriage. Clutching at straws here a bit but who knows with NM and all this suspense we have going on.
