P.s. not sure if that’s what really happened, but I think that’s what I remember. But I still loved Naitik as a husband. He was not perfect but he was still a great husband for Akshara.

Naitik stood against bhabhi maa and family and Naitik chose Akshara and left abroad with her.He chose his wife over anybody and even bhabhi maa whenever akshara was right he was a good man a gentleman and one of the best tv heroes.he was always with her during good times bad times

But Akshara and Naitik ka time was actually the best... Akshara had many admirers, and the whole joint family issues were dealt so beautifully back then... My favorite issue will always be sar ka pallu🤣 and the way they gradually phased it out... I still remember people saying that with leaps Akshara keeps getting younger.... Just the way times used to change...

Gen 3 is huge step down for the legacy show... Ab it should actually end.

I know 🤣 Pallu and those ugly saris. Yuck . 🤮 my fav issue was akshara not able to do dhobi ka hisab🤣 I still remember it..Matlab dhobi ke kapde galat count kiye ..and kitchen ke scenes..cook eat fight cook eat fight 😆some charm it had. Jokes apart , I loved how both the moms made a transition from satellite moms to cool moms..i cud relate to their emotions totally as back then, I was a dil and now I'm a mother to teenage daughters..

Seriously speaking there were plenty of things that every newly married girl would relate to ..The joy of falling in love for the first time and getting married to that same person 💛 💕 the adjustments and compromises of both the couple and their families was very real.

S3 is pure garbage....kartik was butchered but kartik never stopped loving naira at any point.

The vibe of falling in love after marriage was quite popular back then! Vivah was hit and Rajan went on to pick two concepts from that movie and actually create show - One was that color discrimination picked from Vivah ke two sisters and the whole idea of arranged marriage and phase of falling in love was core of that show. None of these two shows had two sisters fighting for a man and both were still top shows!

Kitchen drama bhi interesting the... Including stories of their maid🤣

I didn't watch lot of S2 but I always felt Kartik could have been better guy the way he took Krish was also unpleasant but luckily makers back then dealt with it maturely and not like Pavitra Rishta..

I thot rajan Shahi came up with the concept of colour discrimination earlier with bidai.

Arranged marriage cum love marriage concept will always work imo.

Oh yess... Bidaii... Was the name..

He did.. But it was also a side plot of Vivah a mother who felt sauteli beti/relative will get all benefits for her skin color... And no one will notice her own daughter because of her relatively dark-color... It had Parul Chauhan and Sara Khan as leads..

I remember them using only Vivah songs in the naitik akshara scenes also even in first meeting scenes ‘do anjaane ajnabi’ Vivah’s popularity was one reason that story of Natika Akshara worked and also proper execution of storyline without any misunderstandings and toxic things us time ka write ganja nasha nahin karta tha sirf pepsi peetha tha good writer tha woh uska bulaalo yah sharmas ko dikhao do aur saal i like sharmas phir show bandh kardo leap mat lo

Biggest Fan of Vivah reporting...

Vivah was 2006

Bidai pata nai

Yrkkh was 2009

Bidai was jammed between two and RS had solid base for these two shows... Yes, Shahid's bhabhi was Akshara ki mummy.... In movie luckily Sooraj B considers age appropriateness of actors... RS always prefers younger ladies to be moms, Lata, Kshitee as Naitik mom was odd too, Hina K, and now Ami... 😆

My most fond memory of this show would be the day it ends.

I will tell my future kids how we survived this pandemic of generation 3😳
