Abhi is all things evil and bad. Abhi is responsible for global warming, flat tires, traffic, bad hair days, and printer jams. Everything is his fault. Understood.

So, can anyone explain to me why the loving parents don't care about Abhir's feelings? Not any ounce of guilt from Abhinav, a orphan who grew up without a family (excluding the magic family members that appear randomly when it's convenient to the story). He felt bad for an episode then it's back to "mera beta" with absolutely no shame whatsoever lol. When Abhir needed surgery Abhi had do his "duty" as a father for all the years he missed. Did Abhi know he was a father? No, but but logic doesn't matter. Abhi did drop everything to save who he thought was his ex-wife's child with her second husband only to find Abhir was his son much later lol. Emotional support? Abhi was there for him. Medical bills? Abhir paid for them. Life-saving surgery? Abhi performed it. I skipped a few weeks, but I don't remember Abhi signing away his rights as father or giving Abhir up for adoption lol. It's "my son, my wife" with him. All he cares about his "family" being complete. How it happens and whose expense doesn't matter.

I never expect anything from her character because she was always used to prop up other characters. She never had a story or character arc that's why she is easy to manipulate depending what the writers want to show. It was fine before when she wasn't a mother. Now it makes no sense, because why is a mother's first instinct protecting her husband and not her child? Why is her first thought her husband's feelings and not her six year old son? Every single situation she put Abhinav above Abhir. Abhinav can't wear old torn shoes, but Abhir can. Abhinav an adult can't handle the consequences of a lie he willingly participated in and benefited from, but Abhir a child needs to be understanding and not hurt his stepfather's feelings for a lie he had nothing to do with. She altered his entire life and feels nothing about it. The most ridiculous thing about this leap is that she can move on happily with Abhinav and let Abhi be a part of his son's life. Her happy family with Abhinav and Abhir having a relationship with Abhi aren't mutually exclusive. Both can happen at the same time lol.

Neither Akshara or Abhinav thought about how Abhir would feel? Not once did they think from his perspective or how a child would take this news? Abhinav only thinks about himself and she only thinks about her husband's feelings.

I don't think Abhir will hate anyone. Makers basically made him a six year old version of Abhi lol. He will feel sad, shed a few tears, and have his feelings invalidated by everyone then he will do whatever makes everyone else happy. It's obvious this track will end up like all the others, but it's just funny that the "evil" character is the only one to care about Abhir and Ruhi's feelings.

Again, Abhi is selfish and cruel. I can't prove it, but I'm sure he is responsible for the dinosaurs extinction as well. It still doesn't make sense why the loving parents don't care about their "son."

A bang on post once againšŸ‘

I agree, Abhir isn't going to hate anyone....he's been shown as a happy go lucky kid who can't hold hate for anyone in his heart....he manages to adjust around whatever complication is thrown his way. There is no real "track"....it's just another way to show Abhir being tossed back and forth between his two biological parents.....now he gets to spend some solo time with his father after only having lived with his mom for so long.

P.S. I think you might want to fix the title....I think you meant to say Maa ki MAMTA, right? šŸ˜†

You want a logical answer? Akshara thought of Abhir and only Abhir and that's why she kept him away from the toxicity that is his father and his family. And No..Abhimanyu Birla is not responsible for all that you stated but he is responsible for spousal abuse and no amount of comedic hyperbole can erase that from his arc.

Akshara already talked to Abhir about it. She already met his questions. Kudos to Akshnav that they raised such a well adjusted kid that he agreed to his mother's request :'I'll tell you everything when you grow up' which is understandable because Abhir deserves to know everything and he probably won't be able to take a lot of the truth as a kid. Most importantly how his mother was treated by his biological father. All the questions he spoke outloud in front of Abhimanyu.. If answered.. Abhir would never want to see his Docman's face after that.

Its interesting how you say Abhir is like Mini Abhi. If thats the case then he would hate Abhimanyu with the same vengeance Abhimanyu hated his own father for how he treated Manjiri. Like father, like son right? šŸ˜†

That's why the leap failed in my opinion. Nothing that happens matters and there is no story. She can have her happy family without depriving Abhi of his son. He wanted joint custody and co-parenting is a thing. The makers want to keep Abhi entangled in her new life for any reason.

The title was on purpose I was trolling but I'll fix it lol.

LOLL oh the title was on purpose? My bad thenšŸ˜†

@bold: Exactly....there are mature and rational solutions to this situation even if Akshara has caused some irrevocable damage by erasing Abhi as a father from Abhir's life for 6 years. Abhi has lost those 6 years for good and nothing can bring those back and he will always have to watch his son call another guy Papa. But even putting all that aside, they can make the current situation work if Akshara showed any good faith willingness regarding joint custody and co-parenting. But she categorically continued to challenge any rights Abhi had on Abhir.....the least she can do is give him his legal rights back but she didn't even show any inclination on that front. Abhi on the other hand showed that he was willing to adjust around co-parenting as long as he was not blocked from seeing his son. But Akshara still blocked him from his son a bunch of times and he reacted.

Now the Kasauli living together situation mellowed them on this topic for a bit but it still didn't resolve the actual issues....so the promo is just bringing that back as another festering issue they can keep dragging rather than showing any mature discussions.

They cannot show the main leads fully exiting from each other's lives even if one has found a new spouse, so they will continue to maintain a link in some form and that link is Abhir right now. The lack of resolution over Abhir will continue to keep Abhimanyu a part of her life.

Lets be honest, in my opinion this is extremely biased. No, Abhir is not at all exactly like Abhim, he is a mix of both. And Abhim is no angel either. Both Ak and Abhim have done wrong. Abhim has impulsively acted out throughout the show and shoved his opinions on others and also failed to show trust towards his partner and also shown 0 empathy towards someone he claimed he loved and left her at her weakest moments, while Akshara has hid multiple things and made really wrong choices, always giving preference to people without judging their intentions. If we are to point out mistakes, lets point out both sides, instead of the bias. Abhir on the other hand is a child who has shown great maturity for a 6 year old throughout. He is outspoken like Abhim at the same time has a gentle and kind side like Akshara. About Abhinav not feeling remorse, why should he? He has known Ak’s side of the story, and believes Abhim wronged her. He has been there in that phase when Abhim was not receiving Ak’s calls and was not ready to listen to her. As a stranger anybody would sympathise with a pregnant woman who is all alone over the husband who left her alone. Still Abhinav did not judge him, and after 6 years took the reveal very easily. He is letting the ex husband stay with their family, with all the past still accepting Abhim, despite Ak showing so much hatred for Abhim, Abhin did not let that affect her feelings on his. Now after 6 years if any guy who you saw rejecting the wife coming back and claiming the child, any father would get disheartened. He is showing insecurities too recently, but still treats Abhim with respect. Abhim’s mom comes up and talks all that nonsense, he cries but does not disrespect her or Abhim. So why is he bad? About Ak not caring about Abhir’s feeling, I don’t believe thats the case. She wants to tell her son the whole truth when the times are reasonable. No matter how mature the kid is, he is still a kid. Telling the truth complicates his life, and at the same time also Ruhi’s life. She worries about her husband, thats very natural too. According to me, right now, during the current track, nobody is wrong (other than Manjari for obvious reasons), but situations already turned bad post their divorce 6 years back and the events that followed, what they are dealing with right now are the repercussions of the same. What they could have done better? Abhim could have listened to her instead of acting out in anger or at least tried finding her more once he cooled off. Ak could have tried more than just calling to contact Abhim, or maybe tried calling other family members like Shefali or someone. Abhin could have tried contacting her family and let them know she was going through a complicated pregnancy.

Every post becomes about him. I thought it was best to get out of the way so we can actually discuss something other than him lol.

If we want to get logical than child abuse also exists. Lying to a child about their identity is psychological and emotional abuse. In my field, I have read many studies (mostly on adopted children) that are lied to about their paternity suffering life-long anger, abandonment and attachment issues. Here, he isn't even adopted his birth mother lied to him to fill up photo frames for a man she met on the bus. So, she kept him away from a "toxic" environment to give him life-long trauma and identity crisis at the age of six lol. I'm pretty sure forging a birth certificate is also a crime, but it's ok to commit crimes if you are a mother and your husband is poor.

She didn't talk to him. She told him what to think and how to feel about the situation. Her response was to ask if he didn't like his fake papa. What kid would say no to that? Then she proceeded to ask him why is he thinking about others. That's textbook gaslighting lol. She didn't ask how he felt. If he was sad? Or angry? Or worried? She still doesn't even recognize his frustrations or give him an outlet to express himself. That was Abhi. She invalidated his feelings then made him guilty for thinking about his real father. He agreed to her request then what happened? He stopped his quest for his real father momentary then started again. He wants to grow up faster so he can find about his real dad. Does she care or even notice? No. He is praying to God because she is hopeless lol.

He might hate him. Who knows? Personally, I hope the makers go with this route. A father winning back his son's love is a million times more interesting the situational poverty and child abuse being disguised as a "happy" family. We'll see I guess.
