Vacation is separate from camping. I don't equate the two. So yes, I agree, vacation means comfy stay in a good enough hotel/resort with some more than basic amenities. 😃

Camping is spending time in the wilderness, spending time with nature...get by with the bare minimum.
Vacation is usually a lot more spending, going to new places and lots of rest and relaxation.
