Chapter 2

It was a bolt out of the blue for Abhimanyu and Priya. Calling it a shock would be an understatement. Their fathers just fixed their marriage without even asking them.

"papa aapko pta bhi hai aap kya keh raho ho, Look at her age nishtha ki umar ki hai wo and forget about age aapko pta hai na I am a divorced man and I already have a Son" Abhimanyu rebuked at his father.

It is still understandable for Priya as her father was worried about her future but what about Abhimanyu, how can his father just fix his marriage, markedly knowing what complicated life he's living right now?

" I know Abhimanyu beta I know everything about you aur aaj tumse milkar bhi tumhe jitna jana mai sure ho gya hoon meri priya tumhare saath khush rahegi , tum uska mujhse zyada khayal rakhoge , Please beta man jao mana mat karo" Vipul folded his hand in front of Abhimanyu.

Vipul understands what Abhimanyu was feeling at that moment, his insecurities, skepticism, and fear of an unseen future were very much visible on his face. Vipul knows what Abhi went through after his brother's death, his friend Harsh shared everything about his son with him as he's Harsh's only ally that's why he's confident about his decision to marry off his daughter to Abhimayu.

But No one was understanding Abhimanyu, it is not easy for him to just marry anyone. how can he let any innocent girl enter his convoluted life where he himself is unable to breathe properly?

Abhimanyu shakes his head in vexed and tried to make them understand.

"Uncle aap samjh nhi rahe , acha mere baare mai chodiye , priya ki taraf dekhiye kya wo mujh jaise insaan k saath khush rahegi , she deserves better uncle " He emphasized while pointing at Priya's direction who was still standing in a tacit.

Vipul looks toward his daughter to know her decision, he knows his daughter that she'll not deny the decision he made for her future. Harsh and Abhi also look at her to know her thoughts about this decision. The first one is in the hope that she get agree to marry his son and bring the lost colors into his life and the latter is in the hope of her denial.

"Maa k jaane k baad humesha papa hi meri maa papa dono bankar rahe hai mere saare major decisions papa ne hi liye hai , aur ab jab baat meri life ke sabse bade decision ki aayi hai toh wo maine akele kaise le sakti hu, agar papa ne aapko mere liye chuna hai toh shi hi chuna hoga mujhe mere papa ke decision pe trust hai aur aapke past se bhi mujhe koi problem nhi hai " she gave her assent to her father's decision .

It was not easy for her too but what made it easy for her is her belief in her father and if her acceptance make her father at ease so why not.

But Abhimanyu was still in denial, Uncertainty surrounded him, It was not easy for him at all, he have many lives behind him who'll be affected by this decision.

And marriage how can he marry anyone other than Akshara yeah he was going to marry Arohi but it was just going to be a marriage of convenience, a facade for the sake of Ruhi and he had already cleared this with Arohi.

But with Priya, it will be a real marriage where he has to commit himself with his whole soul and body, is he even ready for such type of commitment?

But He has no answer to any of his questions, His mind has stopped working completely.

Harsh looked at his son who was still in dilemma, he know what he was feeling right now, it is not easy for him to forget Akshara completely or give the same or a bit higher place than Akshara to some other woman in his life

"maan jao Abhimanyu ab toh priya bhi maan gyi , tumhe bhi khush rehne ka haq hai, 6 saal pehle jo kuch hua usmai sirf tum galat nhi the fir bhi saza sirf tumko mili hai aur aaj jab tumhari life mai bhi aage badne ka khush rehne ka chance aaya hai toh use jaane mat do" He insisted and tries to make his son understand, the son who's hell-bent on destroying himself for that girl Akshara.

He always had been right in thinking that Akshara was never an ideal woman for his son Abhimanyu. The girl, who cheated to make her family win a stupid dance competition by throwing marbles under Abhimanyu's feet. That day he could get badly injured but that thought never come into her mind she just wanted to make her family win anyhow.

He was right, that girl never loved Abhimanyu, She just loved the idea of loving a rich and Successful Surgeon who was madly in love with her.

His first opinion of her was not wrong, that girl was never worthy of his son. She deserves that driver only. He sneered in his mind.

Abhimanyu looked at his father in a daze and some flashes started coming in front of his eyes.

'tumhara pyaar umar kaid hai,mujhe 100 baar bhi mauka mile mai Abhinav ko hi apne pati ke roop mai chunungi,tum kabhi abhir ke pita nhi ban sakte, mere bete ke pita ka naam abhinav Sharma hai,tum kabhi kisi ko khush nhi rakh sakte, dekhna tum apne bete ko bhi dukh pohchaoge,tumahara pyaar umar kaid hai,tumne kabhi mujhe respect nhi di,tum kabhi kisi ko khush nhi rakh sakte Abhimanyu'

and the last flashback that comes in front of his eyes was Akshara declaring her love for Abhinav in a drunken state.

He jerked his eyes open and took a long deep breath to make his raging heart calm. He looked at his father, Priya, and her father who were still looking at him in anticipation, and with a long sigh he declared,

"Ok I am ready mai priya se shaddi karunga par abhi nhi uncle ke operation ke baad because agar humari shaddi pehle ho gyi toh main surgery nhi kar paunga, toh humari shaddi uncle ke operation ke baad hi hogi" he promised which made both fathers elated

"Thank you beta thank you tum nhi jaante tumne kitni badi chinta dur kar di hai meri , har pal mujhe bas yahi dar satata tha mere baad meri priya ka kya hoga ab koi chinta nhi hai" Vipul showed his gratitude while taking Abhimanyu's hand in his hand

"Ek aur kaam hai jo mai apni surgery se pehle karna chahta hu" All looked at him with confusion

"Kanyadaan" he answered their unasked question

"nhi pta mai mai OT se zinda laut ke aaunga bhi ya nhi isliye surgery se pehle hi mai apni beti ka Kanyadaan karna chahta hu"

Vipul look at Harsh as if he was asking his permission, He nods positively while wiping the lone tear that had flown down from his eyes.

Vipul took Priya's Hand in his and placed it in Abhi's hand "Abse Priya tumhari hui, Please uska humesha khayal rakhna" and He breathed his last like he was waiting for just this moment to release his last breath.

and I was so confused whether to give a heart or a sad emoji bcoz Vipul uncle died... it was so early. The pain is so real

I guess we will now see Abhimanyu and Priya bonding over their pain. Abhimanyu who has lost his siblings and Priya who lost her mother and father and that will be the base of their relationship?

Was a little sad that the uncle passed away but he died before surgery so that’s okay and I am curious to know what happens to Aru.

you should write more often ( read both the chapters in one go)

I am reading it as a standalone story too, not connected to Yrkkh and AbhiMRa I love both Ab and Akshu and for me no one can take Akshu’s place in Abhimanyu’s life.

I know this story is only Abhimanyu’centred so reading it as such.

That being said a very well written start to the series. 💕💕
