Who would be your dream cast for this show ?

No shade/hate to current cast - they are all doing good given the writing. But who would you have loved to see as these characters?

I saw a fan clip on insta where -

Damon - Harshad Chopra

Elena/Katherine - Jennifer Winget

Couldn’t help but feel that would be so perfect. Jennifer can play Elena well but she’d slay Katherine (without going overboard). I can already picture it. She is quite versatile

Stefan - Gashmeer (he is good) and would look nice opposite Jen too.
Klaus - Rrahul

Bonnie - Vaishnavi.

For Caroline (who is my absolute fav character and as much as Nalini tries, I wasn’t very impressed with her) - probably someone like - Helly Shah. (swara from Swaragini)

She’s a cutie and coupled with Rahul would sizzle.

KK is too old to be Demon. His loose shirt makes him look mote old and untidy. Or else younger Karan Kundra isn't a bad choice.

Next Isha a more strong character. Jenifer is ok for me too. She could be a great psycho as Kavya.😁😁 By the way I miss Kavya in ITV. They chopped down her character. 👎Except her may be Erica Fernandez.

If Erica may be Parth Samthan as Demon. I saw him in MTV and Star Plus. Good actor. Demon was cruel at first. Then turned super sweet.He would look good as Stefan too.Although I don't mind Ghasmeer either. But Parth has a better younger look.

I do like present Sikandar but Krip Sury or Gurmeet Chawdhury would also look brilliant. Saw Krip in Savitri and GC in Mayavi. Bahot khatarnak acting tha. 😱

Someone younger and pretty as Bonnie. 🤔🤔Bonnie was pretty. She had her own story. She wasn't just Isha's voodoo doctor. Don't know why they took her as a nobody. I loved Bonnie. She was more important to me than Elena. TVDs Bonnie was a very beautiful gal.Teja /Nia nice.

Some better dress for Cherry. Reem would be good as Cherry. Cute sweet pretty doll kind of Cherry.

Rest are OK. No idea. The problem of this ITV version is they have cut down all the characters. Sirf love story of Isha is left. She is jumping over Veer once then Arman. Jaane keya dekha?🙄 I thought every single character was equally important in TVD. Now there is nth left to watch.🙄

Parth would look amazing as Damon. Erica is a good actor. I liked her in that show with Shaheer (watched in bits and parts).

(i didnt do “age appropriate” what if coz it’s just hypothetical and also I can’t think of any new gen actors who could pull this off).

Also Gashmeer and Kk are quite further in age than Reem. Honestly as much as I love Gashmeer as Armaan and am okay with Reem as Eisha, I just don’t see the chemistry. Kk and Reem have slightly better chemistry maybe coz Delena is endgame , a relationship that writers developed very slowly.

TVD was also mainly about Stefan-Elena-Damon but everyone else also got importance. Caroline was my fav.

Well its quite difficult to replace the original cast. I cannot think anyone else other than Paul and Ian for Stefan and Damon and also Nina is irreplacable as Katherine.

Still if I have to choose the cast then I would definitely like KSG as Damon. He has that looks which matches with Ian a lot plus he is a good actor and also does not look aged.

For Stefan definitely someone younger like Parth will be the best.

For Katherine and Elena I guess Jenny is perfect, she will slay Katherine but age is a factor so I prefer Aalisha Panwar, she nailed as innocent Arohi and evil, psycho Tara in IMMJ.

Then coming to Caroline, I feel someone cute and bubbly yet a bit sassy at times like Helly will be perfect.

Offcourse for KLaus- Rrahul is the best choice. They casted only one actor properly and thats Rrahul.

If I was to do the casting for this ITV adaptation of TVD, I would have cast the following -

1. Tejasswi Prakash as Caroline

2. Karan Tacker as Klaus

3. Jennifer Winget as Elena/Katherine

4. Rithvik Dhanjani as Stefan

5. Harshad Chopda as Damon

6. Kaveri Priyam as Bonnie

7. Mohit Rana as Elijah

8. Karan Kundrra as Alaric

I know with the “age factor” coz the cast is supposed to be in college so it was only hypothetical like what if age wasn’t an issue . And anyway, Gashmeer, Karan look and are much elder than the rest of the cast (or atleast Reem) I think.
they should have scrapped setting the characters in college then they could have cast appropriate actors.

So many good names are coming up for Damon. Even Gashmeer or Rrahul could’ve pulled this role better.

Alisha was a revelation to me in IMMJ 1. She was damn good. Didn’t follow the show after it got a little to complicated and convoluted.

Davina : Sonarika Bhadoria

Kaveri is another fav of mine. I think she can pull a Caroline too. Helly and her give the same kind of energy.

Oww Karan Tacker will always remind me of this old show called Love ne mila di jodi. He and Gaurav along with Chandna were so good. I used to ship Prithvi and Damini so much! Have you seen it?

I remember watching parts of Ansh's show with that Twinkle girl from another show - Happy or something. He has kinda similarish face structure like Ian.

Sonarika as Davina would be ❤️. Sonarika has this innocent pretty look about her but also fierce when she needs to be. Loved watching her and Ashish in Prithvi Vallabh (good show ruined at the end)

Ya Ansh , the moment I had seen his insta during that time, people were all commenting about him being Ian's doppelganger and I felt the same since then.

Adnan is really good with angry scenes and I had seen a post where someone just made a collage with him and Joseph and it happened to be Adnan's young photo when he was clean shaven he kinda had the look of Klaus ka photoshoot where he had that smirky smile .

Ya Sonarika has the sweet cute face like Davina ...

And then Mohit ko as Kai because he suits Villain role (Haider, Munna and Jai ) .

Ahhh my dreamy Desi Ogs (included whom I feel as Cami and Marcel)
