This show has become so unbearable now! It’s like a never ending nightmare since the past 6 months. Every week I kept waiting for the story to take a turn but it still stinks like stagnant water. The only character growth I have seen in this show is of Dr. Abhimanyu Birla. The injustice done to this character cannot be said in words. Majority of the audience behave like they are some saas tortured bahu abla naarees. My love and admiration for Abhi outweigh the flaws they point at Abhi. He is the most passionate person I have ever seen in my life. So driven yet so emotional. So unstable yet the most still. So loving yet never loved. He is the brand ambassador of deserves better. He deserves a better mother than Manjari who was never present in his tough times. Never gave him that safe space to confide in her, his utmost personal fears and desires. He deserved a better father who didn’t make his life a waking nightmare. He deserved a better brother who stands by him in his troubles and doesn’t abandon him when his opinion is against him. He deserved a better lover who would respect his love and affection and at least have the decency to reject him respectfully. No one deserves a push and pull love that only depends on your feelings and your convenience. He deserved a better wife who didn’t up and leave at slightest inconvenience. Every argument ended with Akshara running off to Goenka house, and recently to pathankot. I hated Akshara for doing that but tried understanding her pain alas could never completely understand.
Now Akshara took away the rights of a father to punish the mistakes made by a husband. I would never forgive Akshara for doing the fatherji kaand. She still insults and humiliates him at every opportunity she gets. She humiliated him, his love, their marriage, everything. Calling him names, calling their marriage an umarkaid, calling him undeserving of being a father. She demands trust, respect, loyalty and much more when she couldn’t give him even an ounce of it. She is keeping quite coz she knows Abhi won’t reveal the truth. Even now Abhi is saying he would trust her to tell Abhir the truth but she won’t ever. You know why? Coz she knows she is scared of loosing Abhir. She is selfish and calls Abhi selfish for wanting to be a part of his son’s life. He has let go if his desires and wants now. He is just going with the flow. He is getting a chance to see his son learn new things and he is finding happiness in the little things. He knows he may never get the chance to be called “papa” but is just happy to see his son be praised and celebrated. The man these people hate so much operated on his son and not one person around him asked if he was okay. Everyone talks about the mother’s pain. What about the father who had the responsibility of his son’s life and death in his hands and can’t afford to fail. No one talks about his state of mind and the mental trauma he went through.
