I just watched the promo for the next episode and I'm really angry right now. So I’m just going to take out my anger in this post.
First of all congratulations to my man Murtasim for proving Meerub to be right in doubting his and Hayas relationship. I mean there were a lot of red flags, but stupid little me gave him the benefit of doubt and he proved me wrong. #notallmen, but definitely this man.
I’m going to be honest, I have never liked Murtasim as much as most of Tere Bin fans. He said and did a lot of things I did not like and because of that I never saw him as a perfect person as a lot of people did. Because I have seen pakistani series with a loving and supporting ML, and they were far better than him (I can only think of two right now, but they do exist). But I always excused him when he did something wrong or ignored it, but I always knew that this was a man I would not like if I met him in real life. Since this is a fiction I choose not to focus so much on the negative and just enjoy the show. Because the show, in the beginning, was fast paced, entertaining and fun to watch. I always felt more for Meerub probably because of all of the crap she went through in the beginning, but most likely because of Yumna.
Whatever the problem between them was, my response was always, it’s ok I will still ship them as long as there is no third person. And guess what just happened. He agreed to marry the same person who has done sooo much wrong. And he knows it. I read people saying he has the right to move on because Meerub left him and I guess I can agree with that, but he sure as heck needs to divorce her when he meets her again since he has decided to move on. But no he won’t do that either.
What makes me more angry is him throwing Meerub out of the house, but not the person who did black magic, not the person who hurt his wife (that he again and again claimed he would protect), not the person who just stood there and filmed his sister running away and not the person that destroyed his marriage.
For those who think that he is going to leave Haya at the altar. First of all, a man who cares about his family's izzat, do you really believe that he is going to do that? MB would have forced Haya to marry so he doesn’t need to do all of this drama to trick her into marrying someone else. No he feels sympathy for her and sympathy for her one sided love. So he is going to marry her.
His love was just talk. At least Meerub didn’t lie about loving him. She might be confused, but she didn’t claim something that was not true. i don't think I have ever disliked Murtasim more before the promo. The only other time I have disliked him is when he was walking around and telling everybody that his wife ran away with an other man. I understand his doubt, but you better have some f'ing proof before you go around telling everybody she ran away with another man.
Yesterday I was angry at both and the only thing I wanted was for both of them to suffer. But now the only thing I want to see right now is Meerub rolling her divorce papers around a rock and throwing it at his face.
