The thing is I don’t feel invested in Mona track but the Saif track I was invested before they got the gulami angle ... it’s probably a writing flaw???

It was always indicated that saif is being dominated and emotionally abused by both his mother and shagufta. Few episodes ago he was sweeting when shagufta came to his office and threatened him. He didn't mean slave as in that type of slave but emotionally abused and submissive to his mother and shagufta.

Saif and samiya's story was never a simply story of a meek guy stuck between two women. Their track is one of the most well written one.

This drama is light hearted social drama but never an easy breezy one like usual ramdhan dramas. It has always tackled issues that affect the society without being too preachy about it. Mona's track is there to show the consequences women or for that matter ordinary people face when they raise their voice. People in power always try to oppress it and if it's a woman standing against them the first threat will be a kidnapping and r*pe threat.

When audience can suffer through extra episodes of so many hit dramas why can’t they add extra episodes to a drama that is gaining slow popularity?!? 🥺

The drama has a huge esemble cast and they finished shooting before it started airing. Billu darling already has a new show and new look so did sheheryar. It won't be possible to extend the number of episodes.
