The story is Akshara and Naitik and their kid and so on, so Akshara would remain the center, not Abhimanyu. And that's the point, he won't stay if he isn't the lead which means I can't see this acting anymore. I have ever liked only 2 actors the most, Harshad Chopra and Jennifer Winget, so would definitely miss his acting.

He did say in an interview Abhira will reunite but don't know he will be here or not, so maybe this is what he meant, that he can't keep putting up with this shit and then have a pity Abhira reunion.
