Basically bcz he is a feudal lords and comes from conservative bg, people don't expect him to follow his wife around in the market. You know how they think it's beneath men to show affection towards their wife or be soft. Men ko dominant hona chahie. Also it's not common for him to go out may be.

What I understood was Khans are influential they don't go to places and roam there like that. They maintain a stature. That's why Murtasim was like let's go from here, people know me here. That's why Meerab asked him whether he got humiliated because of her.

The dialogue so don't go with the scene.

But I still believe beizzati as in KMK went to some shady place like a market with his wifey give her chudiya...gol gappe... as yeah his classy life style did go well with that situation. That's he meant biwi ke liye papad believe padte hai.😂

They could have made this scene more romantic and better like them enjoying together somewhere on beach (Idk if Hyderabad has one)
