Fitoor was a drama which was directed by Siraj ul haq, who is the director of Tere Bin too. In that drama also viewers were made to feel sorry for the male lead during the last episodes. But some viewers could see through the male lead and pointed out his flaws.

And in the fuchsia magazine's interviews of the writer and the director, we can see their thought process. We will get the drama based on the way the writer writes and the way the director directs. They both put Murtasim on pedestal in their interviews. At least the writer at some places defended Meerab's character but the director looked like he didn't understand Meerab's character.

I watched Fitoor , all four characters are actually more defined and u know where each one of them is coming from. Neither husband nor wife are saints and same time not evil too , both of them had past and tragedy . They try to move on but once there old flames are back they are confused and don’t reach out to each other .

Almost everyone wanted dilnasheen and Hamza to be together and assumed same as husband- old love also had something going in parallel but last two episodes were something else! No body understood anything!
