And maze ki baat yeh hai, Murtesim ne khud uski padhaai rokne ke liye "shaadi ka upaay" diya... Shaadi came into picture only bcz of her wish to study was mentioned. Even if this was only thing they have done, she wouldn't give in & accept the marriage!

Then they revealed her parentage truth in such a brutal way to make her agree for marriage! That itself serves a strong reason to not accept marriage!

And yes it wasn't Murtesim's wish to get married... But no big thing changed in his life... And when Merub said yes to marriage he didn't have any objection towards marriage...

So we can't blame Merub for putting no efforts!

@italic: I compared the middle class fam with khans & waqas regarding their view on forcing marriage! Their opinion might change after knowing she's married... But if she wasn't married they wouldn't force it on her & that really makes a huge difference to her! Regarding her lie, I'll wait until her reason for leaving gets revealed...

And regarding parents' love... Even though Waqas didn't take a stand for her during forced marriage, he genuinely loved Merub & stood by her at times but Anwar DIDN'T! Loving your own child shouldn't be conditional! Only love one would get without putting any efforts is that from blood relations! And just saying that somebody loves their child is not truth until they prove it through their actions! MB(i dont appreciate her parenting at all, still) to Maryam despite her eloping is far better than Anwar to Merub!

@blue: I always understand Merub & her issues... And I relate to her to a certain extent... Only things i didn't relate to her are her giving ride replies to Murtesim without any apparent reason(maybe bcz Merub's responses to Murtesim's slaps etc. weren't edited by writer like u said)

And the next thing i didn't like about her is, she finally letting Maryam go with MZ but there too i can see what was the things that made her do that!

There's one more thing i didn't like, Merub stopped Maryam from slapping Haya!

Other than that i can clearly relate to her insecurities, pain of abandonment, trust issues and every argument she had with Murtesim regarding Haya etc.

In all this Anwar got the short stick. Previously he couldn't show his love directly coz dhe was waqas daughter or may be he don't know how to show love. 🤷🤷. Then when his time came he stepped back and put murtasim in the front. May be if they had given sometime after parentage reveal and Anwar being good to meerab. May be the equation would've changed. But he never got to become a father to meerab. Sometimes he is there saying all the things and then in next scene he flips 180. Didn't understand how the character changes so easily. Actually this is the problem with everyone in TB. They say one thing in prvs scene and completely opp thing in next scene. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Meerab only said yes to the marriage for a roof over head not to the marriage itself that she should adjust accept.And murtasim knew this..

The contract was meerabs way of stopping the marriage but murtis ego dint allow him..hence she will lose ,I will win

Muratasim fell in love with her and accepted her which is really good but his family members never gave her the time or space to accept him or this change.She has hated these ppl all her life

Imagine having a cousin who loves your husband,a mother in law who destroyed your family for her darling son and a father who never had a backbone....

Reasons for meerab running away may be never be shown..they shouldn't have edited hayas dialogue.Now she will continue to look stupid and get more hate than necessary

She is wrong in pregnancy track to hide pregnancy and mariyams track and she should never have slapped Murti...rest I don't think she has done anything so hateful

I love Murti and I want them together but nothing justifies the amount of hate meerab gets for not accepting Murti.. she was trying after the accident ...but circumstances never allowed her tocompletely understand her feelings..
