Desi families mein parenting, ghar & rishte sambhalna are almost wife's duties... Husbands earn money & scold kids, if kids do some blunder they come complaining to wife "tumne apne bete/beti ko bigaad ke rakha hua hai" And if kids have tarakki they take credits like "dekha, mere bete/beti ne kya kar dikhaaya"...🤣

That made me desire for someone who would rightfully be termed as a partner instead of "husband", during my school days itself!😆

Yup Desi families are like that...Same here..I saw my parents and decided during school time itself that I would always be an equal in marriage never secondary...

Gave a long lecture on women's rights when I meet my husband so that he would have an idea what I thought before marriage itself🤣

I agree with you. He doesn't deserve the beating. What did he do? He never manipulated Meerab. He said to Meerab what he believed was true.
