I am reading about this on DT and Twitter. I agree with the view that at present she doesn't want to go back to Murtasim so she lied. She might have doubts that if she says that he is husband then they might try to send her back or try to contact Murtasim without her knowledge.

. My prediction …. One reason for Murtasum to agree for nikah could be a scenerio where Haya is diagnosed with some terminal illness…she is about to die and he is emotionally blackmailed in saying YES as her last wish before dying ?
