Meerab and Murtasim got married in front of the mirror. And since then when whenever she stood in front of the mirror he has been there, and if she ever looked in the mirror by herself, she is thinking about him. Meerab is facing the mirror alone again like she did once before her marriage when her parents truth was revealed asking herself 'who am I'. When she lost her original identity she blamed others, now she has lost 'Murtasim ki biwi' identity and her thoughts are focused on herself and her actions.
Murtasim breaks the mirror and injured his hand. He hurts the hand that he uses to defend her, the hand is an extension of himself which failed in protecting her from herself. His hand is bleeding damaged like their bond. He stares at the mirror through which he used to look at her, his thoughts are all on her where is she but he can't find her anymore and destroys the mirror.
She is trying to find herself and he is trying to find her, perhaps they are both looking in the wrong places. The mirror is left shattered who has the answers to Meerab's lost self?
