With most other SP shows going through generation leap and continuing to slide, they need their 2 top shows to perform. Anupama has its loyal fan base and it doesnt matter what the track is, the minute Maa starts giving bashaans TRP shoots up.
I feel the intent was always to shift towards Abhira post IPL unless TRP was high. But wonder if they have in the process lost some of their loyal audience base with taking Navra too far and completely bodging up Abhir's truth reveal and surgery. It appears to have done more damage than good. Unfortunately because of this, even Abhira reunion is unlikely to get them the desired jump, especially because they still dont want to turn AA negative. He is still getting majority of the SS.
The character TRP audience most connect to has been butchered so bad, not the AA jaap, but making her look inconsiderate and as someone who cares more about AA than her child, it wont be a surprise if audience reject Abhira reunion. I sincerely hope it doesnt happen.
Lets also hope this isnt another lollipop. Dont know about offline audience, DKP have completely lost trust of online audience.
