But the timing is off. See, I would understand her regret if she had sex then learned he cheated on her. That would make sense. But there’s no way in heck she would feel even animal carnal heat of the moment attraction to her husband and want to have sex with him if she felt he cheated and wasn’t talked into believing otherwise. You have to feel attraction to a person to have sex with them consensually, even heat of the moment angry sex. But after finding out about cheating, instead her reaction would be sheer disgust, just like her spitting reaction etc. (As much as I didn’t like the spitting, I could totally understand why she did it. I would feel like that if my husband cheated. )
Usually when someone catches someone cheating, the reaction is get the F away from me and never even think about hoping to touch me again. Get your hands, your eyes, everything off my body because the sight, smell, everything about you disgusts me and makes me sick. So, the fact that she then went and had passionate sex with him makes no sense in the first place. I feel that too much weight is given to “heat of the moment”, as if people aren’t in their sense. Trust me…unless they are drunk or otherwise intoxicated, they still have sense to know what they are doing and to “feel” the carnal attraction. So I don’t get her feeling regret about having sex b/c he was cheating, AFTER she had the sex which came after she found out about the cheating. That chronology makes zero sense. It’s very convoluted. I don’t know anybody or any tv/ movie character that would have sex with the person who cheated on them immediately after finding out about the cheating.
UNLESS…. Unless…those edited out scenes of Haya talking to Meerab were actually important here. If Murtasim denied the cheating and expressed love and then they had sex, then Haya came to her and made her believe again that Murtasim was with her as well, then I could see her feeling regret and leaving because of that. I feel the Haya scene was important and hastily removed in panic, as someone already mentioned.
