Siraj used SA or not SA as a theme TWICE in Raaz e Ulfat? WTF?
The SA involved the two negative characters - Nomi and Sehba.
In both instances, audience were confused whether SA happened. I checked Raaz-e-Ulfat DT and it seemed even IFers were divided whether Nomi assaulted Sehba. From what I understand, the girl (sehba) looked visibly upset and traumatized which made it look SA happened. The dialogues were also left vague enough to imply SA (Nomi's farewell line). But apparently SA never happened as per the IVs. Although in case of the second SA, the actor who played Nomi though SA happened but the director thought Nomi attempted SA but stopped mid-way. It also boggles the mind if on set, the director and actor did not discuss whether SA happened offscreen or not.
I am tagging Ninalogy as I saw on Raaz-e-Ulfat DT she used to watch the show.
Also, if you see Hiba's interview with Aamna on AHI today, Siraj is a misogynist. For him, a grey and flawed FL = a black FL. He seems to have his own vision and interpretation of the script (different from what is written in the script) and he tends to view the drama as the the hero's journey and his "sufferings" at the hand of the FL. Koi Siraj aur Khalil-ur-Rahman Qamar ko saath project dedo.
Are we bashing Nooran for nothing?
Not that I am am absolving NM, but I feel Siraj is equally guilty in degrading of Merub's character. I also wonder who was responsible for this MR or no MR theme - Siraj or NM. Considering he made the girl in Raaz-e-Ulfat act like she was raped when she was not, I am wondering if that was his brief to YZ as well - act like MR victim even though MR did not happen? WTF - if this true - what kind of sick phakkk is Siraj? I mean does he really get off at portraying the trauma of SA victims to create SA or not SA suspense?
Rest assured, I will not be watching anything from Siraj after this
