I used to call them Koachewda cancer (Koach + Bewda) š. He did do well for the test team by building a pace attack and that will help a lot but he destroyed the white ball team which was our strength. Many people thought he was the pioneer in winning overseas and the Aus test win in 2018 was epic. Rahane and his bunch of fringe players and net bowlers made a mockery of that 2018 win. Now no one even remembers we won in 2018. Everyone remembers TOOTA HAI GABBA KA GHAMAND. So that's why leadership matters. When he was needed to lead us in 2nd test in SA, he mysteriously go injured and his fav KL was made captain when it should have been Rahane. This upcoming WTC is nightmare for me ...because the memory this Chokli has created on last WTC championship by throwing cup on the platter instead of easy draw and sharing the cup...
Hardik will definitely bring some young talents in the upcoming T20...
But Kohli is unhealthy as captain...His body language tells everything when game does not go in his favour...
But Players have to keep country in mind rather than captain in mind and give their best š Who they are playing for???? Dhoni, Kohli, Rohit, Hardik...no way.....This needs to be engraved in their mind heart...to win the cup ....
Also Forget winning, we didn't reach finals in any of the tournaments since kohli took over. (ct17 doesn't count because it was mahi team and he got lucky to face our punching bag BD in semis š).
Hardik needs to be given the white ball captaincy ASAP. At least T20s. Rohit doesn't fit in the T20 team forget captaining. In indian history Best batters never make good captain. It's the all rounders or multi skilled people who make a good captain.

Besides for Hardik I remember an interview where he said one thing i will always remember from Mahi bhai is whenever you are in pressure, look what the scorecard says for your team and play according to that. Hopefully he can channelize it.
