There is one day destination also nearby called avani. Apart from the local legends that “this is where sita stayed after ram practically divorced her”, there is one 10th century temple here.

Otherwise if nornally people ho to hill stattions this time of year. U can explore coorg kodaikanal munnar chikamgaluru wayanad etc. if it rains munnar would be treat to watch.
