SC is a ramdan light hearted drama that used to air daily.

I am pretty sure of Zgh aired today it wouldn't have been the hit it was 10yrs ago.

I dont think any of the recent dramas you named managed to get the kind of rating dramas with rotlu or dumb female leads managed to get. Channels and producers primary goal is to make money and they will produce what sells more. We cannot completely blame the cigarette making companies for putting the people's health at risk, the people who consumes it are equally responsible for it. Nobody is forcing them to buy it. They do it on their own. Likewise none of these channels are forcing us to watch it. We want it with our own will.

No doubt, such shows have massive audience, most of times women may connect to those bechari female characters because in real life, there are many women like that. They are mostly trp audience. Iss sab main we are the ones who suffer, because we don't get to see something different and in the end blame comes on audience (us) too that we don't want to watch something different.

Ikr SC was a light hearted drama, still it got famous inspite of Fl was not bechari. If people can like such characters in Ramadan dramas then why not in regular dramas.

Mere pass tum ho, neither the fl was rotlu nor dumb got highest rating in history of ptv dramas.

I got your point, but in my pov, it's like 60-40 ratio. 60% blame is on makers and 40% on audience.

If they keep on experimenting, People's taste will get change. Unfortunately, we are getting either bechari FLs or batameez ones. No one is ready to do any experiment. They are just interested in making money.
