Waise why do these shows always show the story of super rich families? Why can't we have a story of middle class families?
I don't understand the obsession with rich family..
They just say that the family is rich but they don’t have more than 7 dresses. Even a normal middle class family people have more clothes than these high class rich people.
isme pata kyun lagana yahi sach hai

Dress is different but pattern and colour are similar. This is definitely intentional.
The main reason I think is we watch dramas for entertainment and as an escape from reality so we like glamorous things, like it or not, middle class is anything but fancy. Miseries don’t attract people and dramas need to attract them, watch Neeli chatri wale, it’s available on YT, focuses on middle class family and their day to day life, one of my fav show and one of the few shows of which I want a season 2Originally posted by: nightingale1234
