I agree Merub was wrong to not reprimand Haya! Merub ka character jaise pehle bataaya tha waisa bilkul bhi nahin hai! This is not one independent, aaj ke zamaane ki ladki does!

But there are times she communicated with Murtesim regarding how Haya is being a third wheel still he didn't take any action, instead he dismissed it all like she's overreacting!

And I'm not here for a Me vs Mu! I started watching the show for Meresim & their nokjhoks during initial episodes! True that i often relate to Merub & explain things from her pov! That's bcz Murtesim ke actions ko jitna nazar andaaz hote hue dekhi hoon, uss hisaab se Merub ko defend hote hue kabhi dekhi nahin maine! Yahaan Murtesim ko bohot saare log samajhte hai, explain karte hai aur defend bhi karte hai! There are times i agree with those posts & there are times i don't!

She treated haya as ill intentioned girl, while khans specially murtasim treated her as someone who is saint, who is just ziddi.

Does meerab not taking action makes murtasim less guilty? NO.

Because

He is the one who said he won't tolerate if anyone harms his family

Yet did nothing to the person who harmed his wife

He is the one who always barg about protecting meerab.

Still did nothing when haya both mentally & physically affecting meerab

He is the one who didn't mind attacking rohail for coming between him & his wife

Yet do nothing to haya who wantedly created misunderstandings

He is the one who told mujse bura koi nahi hoga

Still letting her enter his room, giving her one more chance to do mistake, letting her lean on his bed side, offering his wife's ring to her.

It shows his pure hypocrisy.

He proved himself as the man of just words no actions

Had he didn't claim to love & protect meerab, he didn't attack rohail, he wouldn't have been held accountable at all in haya case.

One thing i want to add here... Don't know its obly me r any other who felt murtasim want meerub to stand for their relationship... As he is standing infront of rohail... He wanted meerub to take ownership and deal with haya in her own way r same as he deal with rohail.. once meerub as a khani give any order for haya no one will object on it... He will stand with her...he didn't want to sandwich between two women fight.... As he is man so he have to kept the owner of being man and didn't fight r humiliate any weak women specially who is orphan... Bt here meerub is not taking her ownership.. as she left everything a side and left from haveli... He didn't expected her to leave from there...
