I will still give credit to Sanjay Dutt and Salman onscreen for their contribution to BW. But offscreen, yeah I am no fan atleast.

I have seen self proclaimed “feminists” on this forum call Rekha bunch of names just because she unabashedly wears her heart on her sleeves. While Salman Khan is hailed as some sorta saint for pining over whoever they think he’s pining over. Women get no leeway.

Well, I don't know. That's according to the description of that video. But it was someone for sure that they were talking about.

Honestly, when we look back.. this stuff came really close to Hritik's family. Remember his Dad was shot way back in 2000 just after the release of Kaho Na Pyaar Hai?

So if the 'Chikna' was HR, won't be a surprise....

@bold - oh yes! 😲 and only it was after the intervention of his FIL sanjay Khan (who had good contacts with the underworld) that this matter was solved (this bit was told to me by my reliable source 😳).

Jaya B gets bashed for attitude towards media but Rishi's outbursts on Twitter or against media never got him as much hate.

Rajesh Khanna got leeway for marrying and abusing minor Dimple. He'd be called a pedophile and wife beater today if he did what he did then at 35 YO age.

My question is, would you as public, tolerate a female actor who like like Salman Khan or did what Sanjay Dutt did? Or still give benefit of doubt to a female actor who married a boy who was still a minor while she was herself 30? Would a female star continue to have fans or defenders in industry to whitewash her image even if she killed humans, wildlife, did drugs, had links to underworld, had affairs or married another man despite being married to first husband already or dumped first husband and kids to run with another new man?

yes it is leeway coz audience really doesn't care about their offscreen life. N most importantly i don't think audience should care unless its proven by court that they are criminals. After it would be proven, court will throw them in jail n won't let them work so obviously audience wouldn't watch their work.
