I think Bakthu threatened Rohail to leave so he might have got scared and left. In Episode 49, we got to know that he vacated the flat and left.

MK

1. MK spoke exactly what we wanted him to about Meerab, exactly how Meerab is. No one knows Meerab better than him. Meerab is not someone who runs away. And she has indeed not run away. And I really liked how he presented his case with examples.😎

She is just seeking some space to collect her thoughts. This, we know. MK doesn’t. This is what he’s trying to figure out. And no, he does not think she's eloped with Rohail.

So many dialogues from him today, WITH examples, after a drought!🤣 Bas, this is all we ask for, and CVs are stingy!

2. MK doesn’t need to ask Haya why she did whatever she did. Why should he? He knows she’s after his power, and she has openly been lusting after it. Why would anyone ask the obvious? It's like feeding the predator. Giving her the power she thinks she has over MM.

And Haya isn’t the reason for MM separation. Sure, she instigated the situation, but it was only that. Everything that happened and why Meerab left is not because of Haya. So, MK’s ‘IF you had a hand in this’ makes sense.

Haya is delusional to think she has such power on Meerab to make her leave. Meerab has removed herself from MK's life on her own, as she said in Maryam's engagement episode, no one can separate them.

And yes, MK does not know about the phonecall. And Haya is definitely going to do something that makes Meerab not return for 2 years.

3. MK rightfully gave his word to her about the ring. ONLY the ring of power, which is Haya’s primary goal. He had no reaction to Haya’s ‘aur tum bhi’. He knows he will never be anyone’s except Meerab’s. MK's belief in MM reunion is too strong to even consider such an option to exist. He will never lose hope. If he does, he won’t be himself—he has said this before. He won’t be able to manage himself.

Only the ring and power he has given word for. The rest, it was all Haya and her delusions. He didn’t even bother to react to her ‘aur tum bhi’.

This scene also plays another role. They are leading the audience to believe that MK-H marriage is happening, and it will be shown that way, with ring on Haya's finger and Haya's wedding scenes. But the groom wouldn't be MK. Because MK only gave word for the ring. And most importantly, he has given Meerab his word.

And I really hope MK will self exile as hinted in the earlier epis: Iss baar main nahi rukunga. Please Please Please. This is the foreshadowing I have been most excited for ever since MK said it! Please give me this!!

Walk away from this circus of a khandaan for a while, then come back as the true Khan-Khaani and defeat MZ

4. ‘I’ll never look at your face’

As lame as it sounds on paper, this is what will prick Haya the most right now. She keeps finding ways to come in front of MK. She yearns to be noticed by him, seen by him.

And didn’t Haya say this right in the same scene and even in gao, ‘When Meerab is here or not here, she’s still present.’ She hates that even in Meerab's absence, MK doesn't notice her. So, it was the perfect comeback IMO.

Meerab

1. Meerab is already learning her lessons. World is not all black and white. Her naivety is shedding pretty quickly.😆

2. She is missing MK and seeks to be with him. This is why her ‘I’m waiting for you to find me.’

3. But Meerab has left for a reason, hence the conflict and why she does not want to be found. We can call it the conflict of mind and heart.
Heart yearns for MK. Mind yearns for Meerab. But this girl needs to realise both are one and same and she’ll find herself in MM best.😆

Once she’s found herself however it is, she thinks she’ll be back home. But Haya will definitely do something that will push Meerab away for 2 years.

4. Yes, Meerab is stupid and selfish right now. But this is still in line with her character. She always leaves without informing anyone about her whereabouts, as established in the 1st epi and seen at multiple points in the show.

No one has actually addressed this issue to her in the right way either. They have always blamed her or reprimanded her. They have never told her that she should inform the family because they care and worry about her safety. Not Murtasim, Not Anwar, Not Waqas and Anila. Their worry was never highlighted, it was always Meerab’s faults. So, the girl didn’t know and galloped into the nightlife of Karachi. Poor girl is going to learn this learn the hardest way through her father death, with whom she hasn't even had a proper reconciliation.

Main issue?

Nooran’s writing is bad and very very weak, but she has always maintained core MM values. The way the PH is dragging the epis is ruining the experience. It has become a snoozefest and picking crumbs. The last 3 episodes were supposed to be one single epi. This is a disservice to the audience, writer, director and actors.

And I just had a thought. What if…Haya is Shahnawaz’s illegitimate daughter??? And Murtasim’s sister? Ma begum told Haya once that Murtasim and Mariyam are ziddi like her and that it’s a trait- that she wouldn’t understand. And Ma begum also also once told Meerub that it’s a good thing to keep an eye on your husband which had led me to believe Shahnawaz had fooled around. Maybe that’s why Murtasim and MB tolerate her so much?

Khan Murtasim Khan, Gaddi ka Janasheen and one of the heads of Panchayat. A person who can go to his enemy’s place with attitude. A person who pulled his gun and was capable of shooting Mallik Zubair. He is not able to handle Haya.😕
