I had a rant locked and loaded but decided to shut my mouth and let everyone else watch the episode and come to their own conclusions 🙈

quick update:

priya welcomes vidhi home with Aarti ki thal etc etc. Vidhi flashes back to her grihapravesh and she happily walks in with Dev. Priya has arranged for a canvas for all the family members to put their palm prints. She asks them to leave space for the nanhe mehmaan - if you thought it was Chithra’s baby whom everyone seem to have forgotten about - you are 100% wrong. It was a heavy handed hint toward vidhi and dev. What’s worth watching is Devs reaction 🤣

Amba is plotting revenge and decides to attack Abhimanyu. And asks Yogu to call the press.

Raichands are enjoying dinner. I don’t know what priya is high on but she goes into vidhi you have such a motherly vibe. You are so comfy with kids. I’m sure you’ll be a great mom one day and promises to take care of her kids as her big sister 😱😱😱 satya celebrates everyone being together with rasmalai. Dev does cheers to the Raichands with some hips and hurrays.

Dev vidhi go into their room and vidhi is happy to be back there, to continue making memories - dev is like along with our memories now ambas’ presence also exists in this room - vidhi is like let’s get rid of the sheets and goes to the closet when she spies a card from priya - wishing them all the best in their new journey. Things start to get awkward and both of them are pretty nervous. Vidhi is like let’s change the sheets first and they change the sheets. Vidhi tries to make conversation but both of them are separated by the bed and are getting nervous. Dev finally is like WTH, walks around to vidhi, takes her hands and they both lie back down on the bed and the scene fades.

Abhi id back to his room and is happy to see photos etc. Priya is remorseful and simmi comes, she is happy to be with her mom dad. They have a sweet moment.

Next morn, dev is talking to daddy dearest who’s thankfully back on the wall in his photo and is like you must be super happy now. Satya comes and says yes all thanks to priya and vidhi. Dev leaves (for work??) - simi leaves for school.

The other Raichands are sitting down having tea/coffee when Sharmas call to enquire about them. They were seeing the news when a new newsflash comes - bims asks vidhi to turn on the TV. It is a 3rd rate news report on how abhi is impotent and that’s why priya was having an affair. Like really? The news is really crass - so I won’t bother repeating it here. Simmi comes and asks abhi things kkke are you really my dad - my friends are saying you are not.

dev is driving and he gets a news link - he gets upset. He decides to go be with abhi, when he gets some call from a random reporter who is like is the news about your brother right. He gets upset and yells at the reporter. He hangs up and realizes this would have already come home.
On the other hand Raoji/daoji/ramji is in his car talking to his son about Vidhi - saying vidhi had some issues. JJ gets really upset and is like why are you telling me about her (I agree) - that man is nuts. He is like if she has so many issues, why does she even want to work. JJ you haven’t heard her MBA saga yet.

Abhi rushes to his room and shuts the door. All the female Raichands are knocking on his door asking him to open it - abhi is unable to take the humiliation and decides to commit suicide. Vidhi has the presence of mind to try and get to his room through the window - she opens the window.

Everyone outside hears her scream Abhimanyu bhaiyya. We see a bottle of pills fall on the floor.

Dev is rushing Mr. Shah to the hospital. He sits at his bedside (his head is wrapped up pretty badly) and says that he’s the reason mr. shah is in that bad a state.

I had a whole rant about SR p3 (if one can even call it that) written. But I deleted it because I dint want to influence anyone else’s reaction to it.

I am conflicted - more people watch and post your opinions and I will add my thoughts as well. My knee jerk reaction was not good. But now that I have had more time to process it, maybe it was in line with their characters? There was a lot of awkward going around - maybe it was intentional?

I am going to divide the episode into the good and bad

The Good

1. Priya's welcome was nice for ViDev since her behaviour with Vidhi had always been below the belt whether it was putting Vidhi down whenever she could or take advantage of Dev's niceness so i am glad her apology was heartfelt

2. I was happy at least we got a one on one scene with Vidhi and Dev. I think all this baby talk made them conscious hence they were acting awkward. Lol i guess balghar they never got close to each other in that way 😆 But clearly they hinted on a SR after returning back home. I would have preferred if they changed the bedding, changed into their night wear and got into bed and closed the lights to hint at the SR. There would be a better closure

But the last part of the scene where Vidhi's lying on Dev with eyes are closed and Dev is looking at her was very genuine and it was favourite.

3. Vidhi ka presence of mind is very good that she went to the window side to try to get into the room to at least save abhi which she will. Abhi's reaction was in character because he is actually a very weak person who breaks down whenever things get tough

4. Omg Jai's reaction was on point that why would he care about Vidhi's issues. The Ramoji bhai is very wierd. Also Jai's performance and dialogue delivery was much better

The Bad

1. They chopped the full part where they all dance around after moving back in...why??

2. Amba and Yogesh were very weak for me today and why does Amba wear that same saree every time she is about cause more nuisance

3. Priya went into Vidhi mode today as per me about having a family etc lol. I dont think it was that necessary but i guess this was foreshadowing for ViDev to think about kids

4. Nobody, not even Satya shows any concern that Chitra is actually pregnant?!?! I think uska miscarriage hone wala hai cause there is no sign of Vikram and might as well get her married again. At least celebration toh hogi

Overall conclusion - Raichand celebration and ViDev scene could have been the whole episode as partial victory celebration. The additional drama could have been saved for tomorrow. It would have made the episode more joyous

since baby talk is coming i would love a discussion between Dev and Vidhi about having baby vs focus on career cause Dev is 45 so he should get on it whereas Vidhi has barely made a career

it would be a very good topic to explore
